(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated under invitation in the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination by the York Regional Police at Crystal Fountain Event Venue in Markham, Ontario on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Different ethnic groups celebrated their culture through performances and displays, and built mutual understanding with the police.
As in the past years, Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to teach the exercises of Falun Dafa, which benefit body, mind, and spirit. Local residents and police officers learned about this self-cultivation practice that originated from ancient China.
Many police officers expressed their support for Falun Dafa. Some said they would like to participate in the practitioners’ group exercises.

A tourist from India listened as a practitioner talked about the practice. As soon as he saw Master Li’s picture in the book How Humankind Came to Be, he decided to buy a copy of the book.
Hongfan, a new Falun Dafa practitioner, told the reporter, “I strongly feel the Canadian police’ and people’s support. They would like to learn more about Falun Dafa and believe in the goodness of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The values of Falun Dafa transcend ethnicity and nationality.”
