(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. Recently, with Master’s guidance, I finally found one of my deeply hidden attachments.
I began to feel dizzy after taking a shower on the night of Feb. 28, 2024. I also felt something was knocking on my head and making a low thumping noise in my ears. I remembered that I heard someone say, “I hope you are free of intentions” when I meditated a few days ago.
I thought about it for a long time, but I couldn’t find my attachment. I believed that Master could see it clearly.
I had a difficult night and could only sleep about one hour before the alarm reminded me to do the exercises in the morning. During the day, I continued to search inward and I finally found it. It turned out that I set a rule for myself that I must study two lectures of Zhuan Falun every day. I thought that if I studied the Fa, the evil would not be able to take advantage of my loopholes, and would have no reason to persecute me.
This was a hidden desire to avoid persecution. I was asking for trouble because I regarded Dafa as a protective shield. Am I using Dafa? If that is the case, my motive for studying the Fa is impure.
Such a great and virtuous Dafa is not for people to take advantage of. Cultivation is such a serious matter! My attachment of pursuit is hidden, dirty, cunning, and dangerous. Now I finally found it.
I realized that we must have a correct attitude towards studying the Fa. We should read the Fa with a pious heart, read every word, and not add or miss any words. We also should not focus on how much we read, or how fast we read when we study the Fa.
I also realized that the purpose of our studying the Fa is to assimilate to the Fa and to use the Fa to guide our cultivation, so that we become pure, selfless, and reach the standards of the new universe. Studying the Fa can also strengthen our righteous thoughts.
Thank you Master, for your compassionate enlightenment!
