(Minghui.org) Since September 2019, practitioners in Romania have held informational events in Brasov’s Old Town every Saturday to tell people how practitioners in China are persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for practicing their faith. They demonstrate the exercises and distribute flyers to passersby. They also made two petitions available for them to sign: One to stop the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from living practitioners and the other to condemn the CCP’s crimes.

People of all ages signed the petition to support the practitioners’ cause. Many young adults and teenagers talked with practitioners and offered words of support. Many have a deep understanding of the situation in China under an authoritarian government and expressed their sympathy for practitioners who face abuse.
High School Student: “Society needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.”
Ruben Ungureanu said, “Society needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.”
Ruben Ungureanu, a high school student from Suceava, was visiting Brasov with his classmates. He read the petition to stop the persecution and signed it, and then talked with practitioners about the persecution and Falun Dafa’s moral teachings that revolve around the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
Ruben encouraged practitioners in China to keep going and not give in to the pressure. “Even though they are going through hard times, I know that God will help them, and I want to tell them that I am praying for them and that there is a saying that ‘there is a rainbow after a storm and sunshine after rain,’ so we must have hope,” he said. “Persecution in any way is not allowed. Even though I don’t practice Falun Gong, I think this persecution is totally wrong. Every person, no matter what they practice, is a human being; they don’t deserve to be persecuted or killed for what they believe.”
“Practitioners Should Keep Believing in Their Cause!”

A group of young people from Brașov previously saw practitioners doing the exercises and handing out leaflets. They stopped by to pick up origami lotus flowers and leaflets and learned how Falun Dafa practitioners uphold Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance by making these principles their way of life. A practitioner asked if they knew these principles, and one of them, Liviu, replied, “Yes, I know and follow them.” Liviu signed both petitions. He urges Chinese practitioners “to continue to believe in their cause.”
A young man from Germany, Tobias Lahlan, signed the petitions. He was very open to discussion, and one practitioner clarified the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. Tobias was interested in the practice, and what the exercises and the meditation meant, as he watched practitioners do them. He was very interested in how they could stay so calm and admired how they were able to sit in a tranquil state for so long. Tobias said that if he could do the exercises every day it could help discipline his mind.
He told practitioners that he understood why the Chinese communist regime launched the persecution against practitioners, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are very high values. That’s why they are not allowed to practice freely because communism wants to control the whole system and control all people.”
Parents and their two teenage girls who live in Brasov were impressed by the harmony and peace they saw in the Falun Dafa exercises. The adults said it was useful for young people to see how great moral values are. They said they would seek more information and they wished practitioners success so that more and more people learned about the practice and the persecution of practitioners in China.
Virginia Lozincă encouraged practitioners.
Upon learning that Falun Dafa is a practice that cultivates one’s moral character and also purifies the body, Virginia Lozincă said, “I congratulate you!” She was surprised that practitioners are doing a lot of outreach about Falun Dafa and said that it’s good for young people to learn about the importance of morality as, “Many people have learned from communism not to be righteous people.”
