(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Las Vegas held a series of activities on July 13, 2024, to mourn the practitioners who have died during the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. They called for an end to the CCP atrocities, and congratulated the Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

Practitioners gave speeches in Chinese and English, to expose the CCP’s atrocities. They introduced the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act of 2023 and the recently-passed Falun Gong Protection Act, and called on people to help end these egregious human rights violations.

Practitioners held a parade along Las Vegas Boulevard starting from the Mirage Hotel Volcano. They used a speaker to introduce Falun Dafa and tell people about the persecution. Despite a sudden storm, practitioners continued their parade. Tourists were touched by practitioners’ determination to spread the universal values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and expose the CCP’s persecution. Many people accepted flyers and signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Zack, Konnor, Bronson, and Kyler, college students from Tennessee, expressed their concern, and said, “The communist regime is evil. People should know about the persecution.” They signed the petition and said they would help spread the information through their social media accounts.
Emily from Russia and her friend from Nigeria said they did post-doctoral work in China. Emily said, “The Chinese government is pretty bad. Many places and things are forbidden in China. I know that many Chinese people have died from persecution.” Her friend said he wouldn’t go back to China. They both said, “We support you! Continue telling people about this. What you are doing is great!”
