(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners greeted Romanians and international tourists in front of the Museum of Popular Art in Constanta on July 28, 2024.
For more than 20 years, Falun Dafa practitioners in Romania have drawn people’s attention to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) aggressive assault on their spiritual practice in China. Falun Dafa is a traditional spiritual practice that features five exercises and the central principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Practitioners set up display boards near the Museum of Popular Art with information about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution. They handed people materials about the practice and the persecution and chatted with passersby. Those they interacted with agreed with Falun Dafa’s principles.

“Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance makes the world a more beautiful place”
Rența Mariusa Sanda said she supports the principles of Falun Dafa
Rența Mariusa Sanda, 58, is from Giurgiu and is retired. She had learned about Falun Dafa on the internet and had seen videos about it on social media. She said she believes that the principles of Falun Dafa—Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance—should be a priority for the well-being of one’s soul.
“The world would be a more beautiful place, we would learn to love the planet more and care for each other. That is the most important thing. By taking care of each other, we love ourselves more. We learn to love ourselves more. We were taught from an early age to prioritize everything except the soul,” she said.
Rența said the persecution of Falun Dafa in China is a war against humanity.
“They aim to kill the soul in human beings and to push us away from belief in creation,” she said.
“Those who persecute Falun Dafa don’t want to recognize the truth.”
Oprea Petre said that values such as Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance improve people’s lives.
Oprea Petre, 70, a retired sailor, stopped to find out about Falun Dafa. After hearing about its principles, he said he realized that nowadays it is hard for many people to speak the truth because deep down they know that they could have done better in their lives. He thought people’s lives would improve if they were careful to observe Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
“Of course your life would be better. You would be kind, and if someone makes a mistake, you forgive them and that’s that. We should be tolerant of others, and maybe they will not do wrong again,” he said.
After learning that people are persecuted in China for believing in values such as Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Petre said, “Those who persecute them don’t want to recognize the truth. They are atheists, without God.”
Falun Dafa’s Values Would Bring “more peace on earth”
Mihaela supports Falun Dafa in Constanta on July 28.
Mihaela, a 40-year-old accountant, first heard about Falun Dafa in Italy when she went to see Shen Yun Performing Arts. She said that if people maintained a way of life based on Falun Dafa’s principles, “there would be more peace on Earth, more tolerance. It would be much better. There would be no communism.”
Mihaela said the persecution of practitioners in China is a manifestation of life under a communist regime.
“I didn’t know about the persecution before. I was surprised to see the pictures, but not too much. Communism does not allow for spiritual beliefs,” she said.
