(Minghui.org) When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ordered the persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999, it was guided by three policies: “Ruin their reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically.” In order to justify the persecution and turn people against Dafa practitioners, the CCP churned out propaganda to smear Dafa, such as the “Tiananmen self-immolation hoax” and the “1,400 Deaths.”
In addition to using the state-controlled media to spread the propaganda in China, the CCP also exported the persecution to the West via its own overseas mouthpieces, infiltrating regular Western media and engaging its secret agents outside of China.
In recent years, the CCP’s secret agents have been publicly attacking Dafa on social media. Former practitioners and former Shen Yun performers who turned to the dark side have also defamed Dafa. While they are all part of the CCP’s efforts to brainwash people outside of China, there are also many practitioners who fell for such propaganda and began to question Dafa and Master. Nothing happens by coincidence. I’d like to kindly remind fellow practitioners that we need to examine ourselves to see if we are affected by that propaganda and if it is our attachments that have invited such incidents to happen.
