(Minghui.org) With the fast approach of the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival (which falls on September 17), supporters of Falun Dafa across China are sending in their heartfelt greetings to Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, wishing Master a happy holiday.
The well-wishers have even included former perpetrators of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. One greeting from Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province reads, “We are a group of rookie and veteran officers. [After the Chinese Communist Party began to persecute Falun Dafa in 1999], we followed orders to arrest local practitioners, resulting in their detention, torture, or even deaths. Despite our actions, the practitioners we encountered harbored no hatred towards us and instead patiently advised us to stop the persecution, as no law in China has ever criminalized Falun Dafa. They also reminded us of the principle that good and evil will be rewarded accordingly. Having witnessed some of our colleagues facing consequences for persecuting practitioners, we believe what the practitioners told us. We now do everything we can in our power to protect practitioners in custody.”
A police officer in Yunnan Province also sent in a similar greeting.
In addition to these perpetrators-turned-supporters, Minghui also received greetings from average citizens, including:- a judicial worker in Linquan County, Anhui Province, - a media worker and several judicial workers in Beijing, - a 93-year-old resident of Weifang City, Shandong Province, - a resident of Chaoyang District, Beijing, - several residents of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province,- a resident of Baiyin City, Gansu Province, - a family in Changping District, Beijing- and a married couple in Enping City, Guangdong Province (with the husband having been cured of cancer by reciting the auspicious phrases, “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”).
Family members of Falun Dafa practitioners were also among the well-wishers. A practitioner in Bazhong City, Sichuan Province had her home raided numerous times by the police for upholding her faith, and her loved ones wrote in their greeting to Master Li that they were moved by her firm faith.
A 20-something in Yantai City, Shandong Province wrote that he’s experienced many times how reciting “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” per the advice of his loved one, who practices Falun Dafa, helped him avert danger.
Two sisters in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province said that while they had not started practicing Falun Dafa yet, they listened to their mother read Dafa teachings every day. The granddaughter of a Falun Dafa practitioner in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, wrote that she enjoyed listening to songs composed by Dafa practitioners.
A resident of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, who works in the education system, wrote that a family member of hers who practices Falun Dafa helped her clear her confusion about today’s chaotic world and declining morality. She came to see the value of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and the importance of promoting traditional culture in the education system.
A practitioner in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province taught her mother to recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” The elderly woman, in her 80s, is as healthy as can be and her other children and relatives thank Master Li for the blessings.
In addition to the greetings above, greetings were also received from - four loved ones of a Falun Dafa practitioner in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, - family members of a Falun Dafa practitioner in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region- family members of a Falun Dafa practitioner in Luoyang City, Henan Province- two families in Xuchang City, Henan Province who have loved ones practicing Falun Dafa.
