(Minghui.org) Practitioners were invited to participate in the “Hello, Health!” Festival in Yambol from September 14 to 15, 2024. Many attendees said they admired Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and hoped to learn the ancient self-cultivation practice.
Yambol is located on both sides of the Tundja River and dates back thousands of years. In the year 293, Roman Emperor Diocletian, impressed by the fertile lands and beautiful scenery, ordered that a town be built. He named it Diospolis, meaning the city of Zeus, hoping to connect the town with the divine.
Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, and introduced Falun Dafa which benefits the body, mind, and spirit. Bulgarians of all ages talked with practitioners to learn about the exercises and the principles, and many people said they wish to incorporate these principles into their lives as well.

Many people visited the Falun Dafa booth to find out more information. Practitioners gave children copies of the book “The Tale of the Lotus,” which talks about the importance of truthfulness, compassion, patience, and encourages them to use these principles to overcome difficulties.

A practitioner showed Daria how to make an origami lotus flower. She said she would put it on her backpack to remember Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Maya, a seventh-grader, said she planned to become a doctor in the future. She was curious to know how to help other teenagers with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
