(Minghui.org) My computer has been with me for over 10 years, which I believe is extraordinarily good fortune.
When the practitioner with computer expertise bought it for me, he said, “Use this one for now. You can always replace it when you can afford a better one.”
I replied, “It’s fine as long as I can access Minghui.org, since I don’t know how to do much else.”
I believe that whether a computer performs well or poorly reflects the user’s state of mind. As practitioners of Falun Dafa, the great law of the universe, we are extraordinary and so are all the beings that assist us in any way.
I told the computer, “I don’t know where you came from or how you ended up here with a Dafa practitioner. I’m illiterate when it comes to computers, and I have a lot of room to improve in my practice. If I accidentally cause you any problems, I trust you to repair yourself. Let’s work together for a better future.”
I have never had any issues with my computer since I got it, and I can access Minghui.org every day. That allows me to read and learn from my fellow practitioners.
One year, after a system upgrade, the practitioner who fixes my computer, told me, “I’ve only installed one system for you because your computer is quite old.”
Two years ago, my computer was due for another system upgrade. The tech practitioner said, “Minghui has announced a server upgrade. I believe your computer will be too old to access Minghui after that.” So, I agreed to purchase a new computer.
On Chinese New Year’s Eve, as I was preparing to watch Shen Yun, the webpage would not open on my new computer even after half an hour, apparently because of the internet connection. Remembering my old computer, I plugged it in in another room. It instantly connected to the internet, and the webpage opened, allowing me to finish watching Shen Yun.
I’m still using my old computer to this day.
One day, my granddaughter visited and saw my old computer. She laughed and said, “Grandmother, are you still using that old computer?” I confirmed that I was. She said, “That model is outdated. How does it still connect to the internet?”
Earlier this year, someone asked me, “Can you still get online with your computer?”
I answered, “Yes. My computer has been in use for a long time, and it seems to have supernatural abilities.” After I moved into my new home, it wouldn’t connect to the broadband. The practitioner who helps me with my computer said I needed to enter the broadband password, but my son had forgotten it.
I didn’t want to go to the mobile company for a reset, because I didn’t want to attract unnecessary attention, so I asked Master, “Master, my computer can’t get online because I have forgotten the password. Please help me connect to the Minghui website so I don’t have to visit the mobile company.”
I then turned on my computer, and the password prompt that had been on my desktop was no longer there. I clicked and was able to access the Minghui website.
Every time I turn on my computer and see Master’s picture, I put my hands together and greet him. When I go offline, I do the same and say, “Thank you, Master.” Knowing that Master is watching over us at all times brings me peace of mind. All life has come for the Fa, and Dafa practitioners are the protagonists at this special time.
My Niece Often Repeats the Auspicious Phrases
I have a large family, and they all know that saying “Falun Dafa is good” brings them great benefits. My niece, who lives in a village near the provincial capital, believes Falun Dafa is good and has helped me distribute amulets, pamphlets, and calendars to help people understand the truth about Falun Dafa.
Both she and her husband developed a strange condition: They had severe leg cramps at the same time every night. The cramps were horribly painful, but they were fine during the day.
I advised her to chant the auspicious phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and she did.
Surviving a Fire on a Windy Day
One windy fall day, a fire started in their village. The south wind carried the flames north toward her family’s rice stockpile. She fought the flames, but the wind was so strong that the situation extremely perilous.
At that time, there were no rice hulling machines, so they had to pile up the rice to dry before hulling it in the winter. If the fire reached the pile of rice, they stood to loose over 300,000 yuan (USD $42,300). In addition, her family had taken out bank loans of over a million yuan to buy over 100 mus (16 acres) of land.
In desperation, she repeatedly shouted, “Falun Dafa is good” and cried out, “Master, please put out the fire. If it is not stopped, I will have no way to survive. Master, please help me.”
After crying for a while, she noticed that the wind had stopped. She opened her eyes and saw that the wind had changed direction, and the fireballs were moving east and west. She knelt on the ground and kowtowed, saying, “Thank you, Master, for saving my life!”
She often asked me, “How can I repay Master for his great benevolence?” I told her, “You can’t repay it. Just tell others to repeat ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.”
After the pandemic was over, I asked her how she was doing. She replied, “I’m doing well. The pandemic has been raging for years now, and no one in our area has been spared except my mother-in-law and me. We are the only ones who have not gotten the virus. I kept chanting ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and asked Master to protect both of us. My mother-in-law cooks for us every day while we work in the fields.”
Their family grows rice in the summer and vegetables in a large greenhouse during the winter. They have a steady income of hundreds of thousands of yuan a year.
My niece frequently repeats “Falun Dafa is good” and has become healthy, with a glowing complexion. She eats well and sleeps well, and her family is in good health, too. Their rice never falls in strong winds, and hail never damages it, so they have a good harvest despite droughts or floods.
