(Minghui.org) I always felt that I did not cultivate well in terms of sending forth righteous thoughts. I still have many attachments plus I cannot see anything in other dimensions. For a long time, I didn’t feel that my righteous thoughts had any power.
So, I wasn’t concerned when I occasionally missed the time to send forth righteous thoughts. Instead, I felt that given my bad cultivation state, even if I sent forth righteous thoughts they wouldn’t be very effective. I felt I was just sending them because Master asked us to.
Although I know that these interfering thoughts were incorrect as I should believe in myself and believe in the Fa, my cultivation state seemed to waver. I did not feel that my righteous thoughts were powerful enough to be effective. I also didnot I realize that these interfering thoughts were not based on the Fa and were not my true thoughts.
In fact, once a being’s Buddha nature emerges, it can cause tremors in the ten-directional world, so how much more powerful are a Falun Dafa practitioner’s righteous thoughts when he says the Fa rectification verses!
I now understand that my interfering thoughts are actually a trap set by the old forces which use my attachments that I haven’t yet eliminated, and my inability to see other realms—as a result I have this misconception and doubt the effectiveness of my righteous thoughts. This interference weakens our power and will to persevere while we send righteous thoughts.
In fact, no matter how well or badly we’ve cultivated, it’s a process that happens as we repeatedly fall and then correct ourselves time as we cultivate. When we are sending forth righteous thoughts, our thoughts are seeking power from the universal Dafa. Furthermore, we are making use of the part of us which has already cultivated. Even if we don’t believe in ourselves (of course we should believe in ourselves because believing that we have this power is a manifestation of our belief in Master and the Fa), we should also believe in the powers of Dafa because Master said, “Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun) As long as we have righteous thoughts and we believe we have them, Master will bestow on us whatever powers that we do not have and Dafa will also empower us.
Therefore, we should not limit the power of our sending of righteous thoughts to our own cultivation level. As long as we persist and are steadfast in sending forth righteous thoughts at each designated time, our righteous thoughts will be incredibly powerful and will be able to eliminate the negative elements. Don’t let the old forces cause us to waver and allow them to block the power of our righteous thoughts.
I hope that no matter which country we are in or which role we play, as long as we are a part of the entire body of Falun Dafa practitioners, our righteous thoughts will be invincible and strong in the remaining limited time we have to assist Master in the Fa rectification process during this Fa tribulation period and get rid of the remaining negative elements!
