(Minghui.org) I’m Polish, and I began practicing Falun Dafa in 2016, first in London, where I lived at the time, and now in France. I was deeply moved when I first saw Shen Yun in Birmingham that year, so I was overjoyed when a practitioner asked me to help with the Shen Yun Shop the following year.

I feel truly honored to support Shen Yun in any way I can. This involves distributing Shen Yun leaflets in France where I initially felt like a stranger as I do not speak French or know the local customs—still, the overwhelming feeling of happiness and purpose helps me overcome any barriers.

I feel truly honored to be a part of this journey of supporting Shen Yun Performing Arts. The show is a celebration of traditional Chinese culture, and is beautiful rich art that I never encountered before, and the performances are spiritually uplifting. Knowing that I contribute in even the smallest way to bring these profound performances to audiences makes me feel that I’m a part of them. I have a sense of fulfillment and belonging that no amount of money could ever match.

I treasure all the precious moments I experienced in the three years that I helped run the Shen Yun Shop in the UK. From helping to organize the shop items to engaging with audiences, every task felt meaningful because I was contributing to something far greater than myself. The dedication and talent of the performers are deeply inspiring and being around them motivates me to give my best as well.

Many times I witnessed the joy and awe in audience members’ faces during and after the performances. Shen Yun touches people’s hearts and uplifts their spirits, so I feel this is the greatest reward. I feel privileged to play even a small part in helping this extraordinary company share its mission of reviving 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture.

Volunteering for Shen Yun is not about just assisting with logistics; it’s becoming part of a community that values beauty, kindness, and integrity. The friendships that I’ve built with others who share this passion has been another incredible gift. Together we form a supportive network, that encourages one another to keep striving for the same goal.

Supporting Shen Yun has become one of the most meaningful experiences of my life, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute. I deeply believe that the work Shen Yun does is of immense cultural and spiritual significance in today’s world. To be aligned with such a noble mission is something I cherish every day. No financial reward could ever compare to the inner joy and satisfaction I feel while volunteering. It’s a humbling and enriching experience that I hold close to my heart.
