(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa at the end of 1996. I’d like to share two memorable experiences I had.
Local Falun Dafa practitioners and I sued former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin at the end of May 2015, but I did not receive a receipt until June 9. On June 10, two other practitioners and I went to the post office to ask about the situation and clarify the truth to the staff.
Before we went to the post office we asked Master to help us so we could send the complaint smoothly. We asked the post office director why we hadn’t received a receipt for 10 days. He said that our mail was detained by the State Security Brigade, and then said threateningly: “You are so bold that you dare sue President Jiang and now you dare to come here.”
One practitioner said sternly, “The state now has new laws and regulations—all the cases and lawsuits must be prosecuted! It’s illegal for you to withhold our letters without permission!” I added, “Jiang Zemin launched a persecution campaign against good people who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and fabricated the ‘Tiananmen self-immolation’ to deceive people who don’t know the truth.” He looked at us, and then said, “You sit down, and I’ll go to the bathroom.” He didn’t return for a long time. In fact, he called the police.
When he returned to the office, his attitude turned 180 degrees, and he quietly listened as we told him about Falun Dafa. We later realized he was waiting for the police, and soon two young policemen arrived. One of them held a video recorder, and tried to take pictures of us. I knew Master was helping us—I wasn’t afraid. Instead I calmly smiled to the policemen. I saw that they were trying to record us, so I said, “Don’t record it, or your video recorder may break.” He stopped and quickly put the device behind his back. After a while, he took it out again to continue recording, and I kindly asked, “Why are you doing it again?” He was embarrassed and said, “Okay, I won’t record you.” And he really didn’t try to record us.
Through this incident, I truly felt that as long as Dafa disciples have righteous thoughts, the bad elements that manipulate people will dissolve in an instant. In fact, all of this is Master helping us. It’s really as Master said, “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide.” (“The Master-Disciple Bond,” Hong Ying II)
It was already noon, and we realized that they might be planning to take us away. I thought, “They are not in charge. Master has the final say.” So, I said, “It’s noon, we should go home.” I walked out with an older practitioner. Another practitioner continued to tell the truth to the three people in the office, and when the two policemen saw that we were leaving, they stopped us, and told us to go with them. I looked at these two young policemen and immediately my compassion came out. I stood in the yard and didn’t leave, and continued to clarify the truth to them. The old practitioner took the opportunity to escape.
I said, “The Communist Party has done many bad things! It persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners who cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and turns your good children who don’t know the truth, into their scapegoats. You will be held accountable for their crimes. Don’t you think this is wrong?” They said in unison: “Actually, we don’t want to do this, but we have no choice.” I said, “If you know the difference between right and wrong, and good and evil, you’ll know what to do. I hope you never do such stupid things again in the future. It’s a heavenly principle that good deeds are rewarded—you can choose a better future for yourself!”
They said, “Go home.” We talked as we walked on the street. When the bus came, I got on and went home, and they also turned around and walked away in the opposite direction.
In this way, with Master’s blessing and protection, all three of us went home smoothly.
Clarifying the Truth to a Security Guard
I posted stickers with information about Falun Dafa one summer night in 2017. As I posted stickers on every door, suddenly someone grabbed my hand. The man said, “What are you doing?” I felt overwhelmed and said, “This is what I’m doing.” I realized this man was a security guard, and his duty room was close by. He pushed me into it.
As soon as I entered, he told me to empty my bag. I took out a truth-clarifying booklet and handed it to him. I said I could only give him one copy, and that the rest were for other people. My words amused him, and he said, “You are bold to post these anti-CCP things everywhere, yet you say that you are saving people!” I thought this was a good opportunity to clarify the truth about the persecution. I told him that Falun Dafa guides people to cultivate themselves, and that the Tiananmen self-immolation case was staged. Falun Dafa is practiced in more than 100 countries and regions in the world, that Falun Dafa’s main book, Zhuan Falun has been translated into more than 40 languages, and so on.
He quietly listened and finally asked me what kind of education I had and how I knew so much. He also said, “I didn’t know all this. I heard that practitioners meditate, can you show me?” I sat down on the bed and did the hand movements for the fifth exercise. I also recited a poem that I wrote. He said, “It’s written so well! Can you write it down?” I took a pen and paper out of my bag and wrote it down for him.
I told him about the trend of quitting the CCP to ensure safety, and helped him quit the Communist Party and the organizations he joined. What’s even more amazing is that he asked me to help the other three members of the family, including his wife and children, all four of them, to quit the CCP organizations they joined.
I can’t express my feelings in words, but I am grateful to Master for his great compassion, wisdom and courage to help us fulfill our responsibilities and missions as practitioners. I want to fulfill my great prehistoric wish to help Master rectify the Fa and save sentient beings!
I know that I’m far behind practitioners who are diligent, and I’m far from Master’s requirements. I still have many attachments, such as resentment, jealousy, fear, grievance, and many others. I made up my mind to be more courageous and diligent in the limited time left, do the three things Master asked of us, and return to my true home with Master.
