(Minghui.org) Over the past several months, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has directed several campaigns to attack Master, Shen Yun, and other practitioners. I’d like to offer some of my understandings about this.
Master taught us,
“Human society is controlled by gods. When gods want chaos in human society, a lack of chaos isn’t an option. And when gods want it to be stable, it has no choice but to be stable, right? And then there’s the fact that something so major has been arranged for Fa-rectification, so how could things not be under control?” (“Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World Volume VII)
Why, even after so many of the evil factors have been eliminated over the past 25 years of Fa-rectification, does the evil still dare to carry out such attack campaigns in the U.S.?
I feel there are several factors that could be involved.
First of all, while the evil forces are facing their ultimate fate of being eliminated, they are trying one final time to create trouble for Master, even if they know that they won’t succeed. They want to interfere with Master’s Fa-rectification so that they can slow down the elimination of the final evil factors and prevent more sentient beings from being saved.
Second, although the situation seems to be chaotic, I believe everything is under Master’s control. In the chaos, all that is degenerate and all human thoughts will be revealed, even as everyone is positioning themselves. This allows the Creator to select those who can still be saved.
Third, for all Dafa cultivators, it’s a test to see whether we can uphold our faith in Dafa and Master, whether we can see through the illusions, and whether we can face the situation with righteous thoughts and remain unmoved.
Overall, I believe the main reason for such things to have happened is because our understanding of the Fa is deficient and our cultivation states are poor.
In these recent articles that besmirch us published by the Western media, the accusations are exactly the same as the lies spread by the CCP in the early years of the persecution, such as practitioners not seeing doctors after getting sick or Master making huge amounts of money off of practitioners.
I believe the root cause of the new smear campaign comes from our not completely removing our fundamental attachments, which has caused tremendous interference for Master and practitioners working at Shen Yun.
As Master said in 2000,
“Do you know that one of the biggest excuses the evil old forces use at present to persecute Dafa is that your fundamental attachments remain concealed? So in order to identify such people, the ordeals have been made more severe. If you are attached to Dafa’s consistency with human science, they manipulate wicked human beings to spread lies that Dafa is “superstitious”; if you are attached to Dafa’s power to heal, they manipulate wicked human beings to spread lies that Dafa forbids people to take medicine and that this has led to fourteen hundred deaths; even if you say that Dafa isn’t involved in politics, they have wicked human beings spread lies that Dafa and Li Hongzhi have foreign political forces behind them, and so forth; if you say that Dafa collects no fees, they say that Master has sought to accumulate wealth through dishonest means. They have evil ones concoct lies about whatever it is you are attached to. Even if your fear is that Dafa is being harmed, they will fabricate articles allegedly written by Master.” (“Towards Consummation,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress II)
With the Fa-rectification of the human world about to start, we all need to ask ourselves: “How well have we cultivated ourselves? If everything had ended a few years ago, how many of us would have reached the standard for consummation?” In the face of the new campaign of attack, we need to take a deep look within and identify our fundamental attachments that are yet to be eliminated. Only when we truly reach the standard of the Fa and assimilate ourselves to the Fa can we use the Fa to judge everything, handle things well, and get to where Master wants us to be.
