(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Diao Chunfeng Arrested and Harassed
2. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Zhu Peiting Held in Brainwashing Center
3. [Suizhong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yuming Detained
4. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiuhua Detained
1. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Diao Chunfeng Arrested and Harassed
Ms. Diao Chunfeng was arrested at home by several officers from the Shiliang Town Police Station on July 17, 2025. The police confiscated a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, a computer, printer, desk calendar, cell phone, and over 10 booklets. Ms. Diao was taken to the Yantai City Detention Center that afternoon but was denied admission due to her health. She was released on bail in the evening.
The police went to Ms. Diao’s home on September 2, 2025, but left after no one answered the door.
2. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Zhu Peiting Held in Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhu Peiting, 77, was taken to the Dingtang Brainwashing Center in Xiangshan County by several plainclothes officers on the morning of August 22, 2025. She was held there for 24 days.
Ms. Zhu was previously arrested on August 18, 2023, and later sentenced to eighteen months with a fine of 3,000 yuan. She was harassed several times after she was released on February 17, 2025.
3. [Suizhong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yuming Detained
Ms. Liu Yuming was detained for ten days.
4. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiuhua Detained
Several officers from the Kangping County Domestic Security Division and the Shengli Police Station went to Ms. Li Xiuhua’s home on September 25, 2025. They confiscated several Falun Gong books, several media players, and wall posters. Ms. Li was held in a lockup and released on September 28, 2025.
