(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yaxia and Ms. Wang Xiuqin Detained

8. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Yuping’s Home Ransacked
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] 10 Practitioners Harassed
10. [Guyuan County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Detained
1. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Yaxia and Ms. Wang Xiuqin Detained
Ms. Li Yaxia and Ms. Wang Xiuqin were arrested on May 15, 2025. They are being held in Yanji City Detention Center.
2. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Chong’s Appeal Denied
Ms. Liu Chong was arrested on July 12, 2024 and sentenced to four years with a 20,000-yuan fine by the Lianshan District Court on June 19, 2025. She appealed with the Huludao City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold her original verdict on October 9, 2025.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jiang Liaoxiang Arrested
Ms. Jiang Liaoxiang, a teacher, was arrested at home by Tiexi Domestic Security Division officers on August 14, 2025.
4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Duan Xiaorong Faces Trial
Ms. Duan Xiaorong was arrested by Daqing City Police Department officers on her way to grocery shopping on June 24, 2025. Her family went to the police station to look for her, but to no avail. They reported her missing the next afternoon and was told that she had been admitted to the Daqing City Second Detention Center. She was soon indicted and scheduled to stand trial at the Ranghulu District Court on October 15.
5. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yuan Hongying’s Appeal Denied
Ms. Yuan Hongying, 70, was arrested in the waiting room of Harbin Railroad Station by Harbin Railroad Police Station officers on February 5, 2025. She was held in the Harbin Second Detention Center. The Harbin Railroad Transportation Court sentenced her to three years in prison and fined her 2,000 yuan in mid-July 2025. Her appeal was denied by the Harbin Railroad Intermediate Court. She has been admitted to the Heilongjiang Province Women’s Prison.
6. [Chongyang County, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Tianzhu Arrested
Mr. Li Tianzhu was arrested by Tongcheng County Police Department officers in May 2025. His home was ransacked. His whereabouts are still unknown.
7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Haiyan Released After Serving Eight Years in Prison
Ms. Zhou Haiyan was released on October 7, 2025 after serving eight years in the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison.
8. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Yuping’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Chen Yuping, 80, had her home ransacked by eight plainclothes officers from Dongmafang Police Station and her community one morning in mid-August 2025. They claimed that surveillance video recorded her putting up Falun Gong posters. They did not find the alleged Falun Gong posters at her home and left without arresting her.
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] 10 Practitioners Harassed
Ms. Wang Xiulan, Ms. Niu Xiulan, Ms. Duan Xiuguo, and Ms. Yang Xiulian were harassed at home and had their photos taken by the police and Zhao Zhihong, security director of Dongqiao Village, in August 2025.
Ms. Fu Cheng’er was harassed at home and had her photos taken by the police led by Hong Hai, head of Xibei Village, in August 2025.
Ms. Wang Xiuying, Ms. Wang Yonghua, and Ms. Chang Jinlan were harassed at home and had their photos taken by Wanquan Town Police Station officers in August 2025.
Ms. Hang Shizhen and Ms. Kang Jinmei were harassed at home and had their pictures taken by police officers led by Zhao Zhihong on September 2, 2025.
10. [Guyuan County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Four practitioners were arrested on September 26, 2025. Among them, Mr. Wu Jinxiang was given nine days of detention, but was released the next day for his poor health; Ms. Bai Shuping was detained for nine days and rele on October 5, 2025; Ms. Liu Suping and Ms. Wang Aihua were both detained for 12 days and were released on October 8, 2025.
