(Minghui.org) The 74th annual Niagara Grape and Wine Festival parade was held in St. Catharines on September 27, 2025. Every September, the Niagara region in Canada hosts the festival, the largest and longest-running wine festival in the country.
The Tian Guo Marching Band and waist drum team, composed of Falun Gong practitioners, were once again invited to participate in the parade. As one of the few Chinese groups their presence was particularly eye-catching and they were warmly applauded.

Randy and Prisciliana
As the Tian Guo Marching Band passed by, Randy and Prisciliana applauded and danced to the rhythm. Randy said, “I saw their performance last year. It was truly spectacular. They were very organized and coordinated. It was a wonderful sight!” Prisciliana said, “This is the first time I’ve heard them play. They were so synchronized. Just by looking at their posture and alignment, I can imagine how much effort they put into achieving this.”
When she learned that the band members follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Prisciliana said, “I believe that as human beings, we desperately need these core principles in this world and should integrate them into our lives.” Randy said this was exactly what our world needs and this should be practiced more.

Trish said it was the first time she’s seen the Falun Gong group. She said, “I really enjoyed their performance and clapped along with the music. It was fantastic!” She learned that practicing Falun Gong can benefit one’s physical and mental health. She felt the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance can benefit the world.
When she learned that Falun Dafa is practiced in over 100 countries, Trish expressed her admiration.
Mabel likes the band’s performance.
Mabel imitated the band members’ drumming as they passed by. She said, “This is my first time seeing this parade, and it’s also my first time seeing them. I love the synchronicity of their drumming, so I imitated their movements.”
When she learned the band members are Falun Gong practitioners who follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Mabel said she admired this, “Truthfulness—I like honesty; Compassion brings people together and encourages kindness; Forbearance—gives me a divine strength and calms me.”
Mabel also said she would learn more about Falun Gong online.
