(Minghui.org) In 2015, local practitioners decided to put up truth-clarification stickers and banners. Under Master’s compassionate protection, we were able to do this for about five years. When we recall our experiences, we feel doing this has eliminated interference, saved people, and helped us to cultivate solidly. During the 22nd China Fahui on Minghui.org, we’d like to tell other practitioners about our cultivation experiences and insights.
We Begin
In summer 2015, a practitioner was arrested and detained in a police station for clarifying the truth about the persecution at a market. Several practitioners drove more than ten kilometers to the police station to send forth righteous thoughts and rescue the practitioner. He was released that afternoon.
One practitioner brought stickers which had information about Falun Dafa. So on our way back, we put them up along the road. Afterwards, a practitioner suggested, “Should we organize a group and regularly put up stickers?” Everyone liked the idea, so we started to do this every week.
Cooperating and Maturing as One Body
After we began putting up stickers, we felt they were too small to make much of an impact, so we decided to hang banners.
We adopted screen printing technology from a technical forum and made weather resistant banners. We used yellow paper as the background, and our banners were different sizes—from 15 x 60 cm to 20 x 120 cm.
We made home-made paste, composed of wheat flour, water and sugar. In the winter we added salt to keep it from freezing. We went out to put up the banners in villages and roadsides at night, and we put up 120 to 150 banners each time. We used a broom to raise the banners when there was little wind.
Each practitioner had a different task. One practitioner applied paste to the reverse side of the banner. Two practitioners positioned the banner on a broom. The driver stopped the car at a suitable location. One practitioner opened the door and put up the banner. The driver moved to the next location. It took 10-20 seconds for a small banner and 20-30 seconds for a larger banner to be placed.
The banners could be put up two to three meters high. They were eye-catching and not easily damaged. We also used a telescoping pole to hang a banner to four or five meters high. But it’s not easy for people to view the banners that high. It took us 40 to 60 minutes to put up 100 banners.
We put up the banners on utility poles and on public walls in markets, public squares, and supermarkets. We made sure to place them where people could see them. There were usually surveillance cameras on main streets that ran east and west, so we put up banners on the streets running north and south.
Sometimes we also put up printouts of letter or bigger size with content from Minghui.org. We used a laser printer and an imported color cartridge, which is weather resistant. The small posters were hung at eye-level so that people could easily read them. We also printed small banners on self-adhesive stickers. For outdoor use, we chose adhesive paper with high viscosity and a thicker backing. During winter we chose adhesive paper, which could withstand cold temperatures.
The colorful self-adhesive banners put up on Minghui look nice and help expose the persecution. A practitioner printed the banners with a photo printer. When more practitioners joined the effort, we were able to go out twice a week to put up banners.
Eliminating Interference
The banners we put up read “Falun Dafa is good,” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” Quit the CCP for a safe future,” and “Bring Jiang Zemin to justice.” We put up many banners across many villages.
A practitioner put up a banner that was 20 x 120 cm near a school. His third eye was open, and after he returned to the car, he said he saw the banner surrounded by golden light. Everyone was happy, because we felt this was a reminder that these banners play a role in eliminating evil factors.
People in some villages have predestined relationships with Dafa, and the banners we put up in those villages stayed a long time. We saw the base paper of the banners were gone due to wind, sun and rain, but the words were still there. The villagers selected a bright future for themselves because they did not tear the banners down. Practitioners also felt Master’s empowerment and the mighty power of Dafa.
We put up banners to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day every year. Sometimes we see the celebratory banners from the previous year were still intact, which we felt showed how great and sacred Falun Dafa is.
Once the neighboring county held a big fair in a large area, and several of us went there. We cooperated with the local practitioners, and had one local practitioner in each car for directions. We put up banners near the fair and on the roadside. We put up about 500 banners from 8 p.m. to after 1 a.m. next day. Each group was in charge of a designated area. Our effort placed a strong righteous field. The local practitioners initially worked as guides and later joined our efforts to put up banners. We cooperated and completed the mission.
The CCP put up many slogans at one point in time. We removed those slogans by painting over them or cutting them with wallpaper knives.
Once on the wall of a police station was a CCP slogan. We covered the character “party” with paint. All of the slogans on the street were replaced with others after a few days.
The CCP put up slogans that slandered Falun Dafa near the front entrance of a government department. Many people passed by and they could see it. We covered the character “party” with paint. It was restored a few days later. We covered it with paint a few days later. After a few rounds of restoration and covering, a painting of traditional culture was placed there. We also sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind the slogan. After a while, the entire wall was painted white.
Getting Help from Master and Disintegrating Interference
We also experienced dangerous situations when we put up banners, but Master protected us.
Once a person reported us, and a police car blocked our front road. Several practitioners had just finished putting up banners and returned to the car. The driver saw the police car and told everyone else to send forth righteous thoughts. He rapidly backed up, turned left, and suddenly accelerated to leave. Later, we heard from an acquaintance that the policeman said our car looked like it was flying.
We went to a remote mountain village to put up banners. The road to the village was familiar to us. We generally did not come back on the same road, but that road was the only one in the mountain. We reached the endpoint and drove back while putting up banners along the way.
There was a police van near a local supermarket. We did not notice it. When we reached a town entrance after putting up banners along the road, the driver said, “Let’s enter the village and put up some banners.” We put up banners and then left the village. A police van stopped on our right side. Several practitioner were putting up banners and the driver yelled at us to get into the car quickly. We drove away like an arrow and the police van chased us for a while. We drove more ten kilometers and then finished putting up the leftover banners before we returned home.
Afterwards we talked about what happened and looked inward. We deeply appreciated Master’s protection. We realized the police van set up a check point near the village entrance, but because it was at a bend in the road, it was hard to detect. We decided to change our route and got around the check point. If we followed the road as originally planned, the police would have caught us. We escaped because Master was protecting us.
Another time, it rained when we put up banners in a village. The main road in the village was under construction, the car could not get though. The car's engine also had some issues. We spent a long time trying to get out, and then the engine got very hot. Eventually we managed to get out of the village and drove on a small road that we did not recognize. Then a car came, and the driver told us how to get home. It was very late by the time we got home. We knew Master rescued us when we were lost.
Improving Xinxing
Many issues in cultivation are related to our xinxing. Our attachments like fear, zealotry, resentment, and validating self were exposed.
Once we removed the CCP’s slogans with the words “Party members,” we planned to cover the character “Party” with paint. A practitioner who had just joined the project painted over the words after getting out of the car. After boarding the car later, we saw that he painted over the word “members” but not “Party.” Later the practitioner improved his xinxing and eliminated his fear.
A practitioner felt he put up the banners well, fast and straight. When he saw that others did not do well, he would say “This is not good.” When we discussed our experiences, he saw and eliminated his attachment.
Master protected us on our five-year journey of putting up banners. We appreciate Master for his care and arrangements to help improve our xinxing.
