(Minghui.org) The Christmas Parade, the biggest celebration in Montreal, was held on November 22, 2025. The Tian Guo Marching Band participated in the popular annual event and was welcomed by spectators.

The Christmas Parade started in 1925 and signals the start of the holiday celebrations. The large, colorful parade draws approximately 200,000 to 300,000 spectators every year.

More than 1500 people participated in the parade, and the Tian Guo Marching Band had the largest entry with 110 members.

Lana, an undergraduate student

Lana said that Tian Guo Marching Band was the most spectacular in the parade. “I think it is the most spectacular, the most unforgettable. Their entry is huge and well coordinated. Their costumes are beautiful, truly gorgeous. I’ve recorded a video and will post it in my Instagram.”

After learning that the band spreads the message of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Lana said, “I think these values are so nice. Before Christmas, in the cold of winter, spreading kindness and hope helps people not to feel depressed.” She said she hopes the band will participate next year.

Mandana Javan thought that the Tian Guo Marching Band was the most touching group in the parade: “All the members are so self-disciplined and coordinated. It’s unforgettable.”

After she heard that Falun Dafa’s values are Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Mandana said, “These values are outstanding. I admire that they share this tradition with the community. This is amazing.”

Sonia, an attorney, said, “This band is amazing. I really like it.”

“This is the first time I’ve seen them,” said Muno, “and I was captivated.” She said she would learn more about Falun Dafa.

Spectators Christian and his children said they were excited by the band’s drumbeats. “We really like it. Their music makes us feel great. The sound of the big drums truly can touch your soul.” He commended the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

“Amazing!” Lucas said enthused. “Probably the most eye-catching part is their costumes. But when the music started, it was amazing and great to hear.” He agreed with the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, saying, “Truth is important, compassion is essential, and forbearance is pivotal.”
