(Minghui.org) Many cities in New Zealand hold Christmas parades at the end of November. This year, Falun Dafa practitioners received invitations from more than 20 cities and districts to join their annual Christmas parades. Their Tian Guo Marching Band, dragon dance, and waist drum teams participated in the parades in Christchurch, Onehunga of Auckland, and Papakura of Auckland, on November 22 and 23, 2025.

Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Will Make the World Better
Parade volunteer Mark Scaife commends Falun Dafa practitioners’ entry.
Parade volunteer Mark Scaife of Christchurch said that 67 floats and over 500 people participated in the parade.
Talking about the Tian Guo Marching Band, Mark said, “The performance is amazing!” He asked about Falun Dafa and agreed with the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “If everyone follows these values, the world will become better,” he said.
He also praised the band members’ outfits, “They look very clean and charming.”
Salvation Army Band Member Commends Falun Dafa
Nerida praises Falun Dafa.
Nerida, a Salvation Army band member, danced in time to the Tian Guo Marching Band’s music, and she said, “Amazing, they don’t look at sheet music. When we perform, everyone looks at sheet music.”
She added, “They performed very well. The timbre and rhythm are very good. I like their performance very much.”
When she learned that the band members follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, she strongly agreed, “I am happy to know this. I like compassion and kindness, which are values we stress a lot.”
She said that music brings aesthetic appeal and makes people feel the harmony and power of a group. “The music today is spectacular. Their entry is orderly. I could feel their energy and cohesion. I like this overall presentation.”
Nerida said that kindness and compassion can help society become warmer, “It is great seeing everyone is doing positive things.”
People Praise the Band’s Performance

Two young cheerleaders, Izzy and Lily, said they liked the Tian Guo Marching Band’s performance. “I like trumpets. The sound is powerful,” said Izzy. They spoke highly of the eye-catching clothes, “The outfit is so cool! They get full marks.”
When they heard that Falun Dafa and its principles originated from ancient traditions in China and are based on core values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The two girls listened carefully and said they were touched.
Lily said, “I think telling the truth is very important. One cannot lie.” Izzy added, “Compassion is important, no matter at home or school. Facing anyone, one should treat others kindly.”
When talking about forbearance, Izzy said, “Forbearance is essential. Even when you are angry, you need to work hard and move on.”
Jake nodded when he heard about Falun Dafa’s values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He said, “Superb. Our society absolutely needs truthfulness. More kindness is needed everywhere. Tolerance and forgiveness complement each other, and both are important.” He encouraged practitioners to continue reaching out to the public, “Very good. Do more and let more people see.”
