(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Libo Sentenced to 4.5 Years in Prison

6. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Song Fuyuan Facing Indictment
7. [Chongqing] Mr. Ren Dongchuan Harassed
8. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Yuanxing Detained
9. [Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Fu Yunping Sentenced to One Year and Nine Months in Prison
1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Libo Sentenced to 4.5 Years in Prison
Mr. Zhang Libo from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province was arrested in Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, in late 2024. He was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison by a court in Sanya City, Hainan Province. He is detained in the Sanya City Detention Center and has appealed the case.
2. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Xuelian Detained
Ms. Xu Xuelian was arrested by officers from the Huangmei County Domestic Security Division on December 2, 2025. She is being detained in the Huangmei County Detention Center.
3. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin Detained
Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin was arrested at home by Jiacun Town Police Station officers on December 4, 2025. The police confiscated her computer and printer. She is detained in the Wangdu County Detention Center.
4. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xie Houmei Harassed
Ms. Xie Houmei was harassed at home by several agents from the Zhenjingshan Police Station and Xiling District Political and Legal Affairs Committee in mid-November 2025. They ordered her to renounce Falun Gong and verbally abuse Falun Gong’s founder. She firmly refused. In addition to Ms. Xie, several other practitioners were also harassed and threatened with detention in a brainwashing center.
5. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yuxiang and Ms. Qi Enxiang Persecuted
Ms. Wang Yuxiang was sentenced to five years in prison at an unknown date for demanding that the authorities return her suspended pension. She is currently serving time in the Jilin Province Women’s Prison.
Ms. Qi Enxiang was arrested in April 2024 and has been detained for one and a half years. She is experiencing a medical condition in custody. She was previously sentenced to three years in 2014, and has had her pension suspended since.
6. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Song Fuyuan Facing Indictment
Mr. Song Fuyuan was arrested on November 21, 2025 by Jinjia Police Station officers. Disregarding the fact that he suffered a medical episode and fainted during the arrest, the police still detained Mr. Song at the Changtu County Detention Center. The police submitted his case to the procuratorate days later. His family learned from the prosecutor on December 3, 2025 that his case had been returned to the police for additional evidence.
7. [Chongqing] Mr. Ren Dongchuan Harassed
Mr. Ren Dongchuan has been harassed multiple times this year. Three people, including the head of the Jiulongpo District 610 Office, knocked on his door on January 10, 2025. He was harassed by Xipeng Police Station officers on two consecutive days, on January 16 and 17, 2025.
Li Kai from the Xipeng Police Station, Zhan from the local security management office and another woman showed up at Mr. Ren’s home on September 2, 2025. Li returned on December 4, 2025. He stood outside and left quickly without saying anything.
8. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Yuanxing Detained
Mr. Liu Yuanxing was arrested by more than ten officers from the Pingjiang County Domestic Security Division and the Tianyue Police Station on November 19, 2025. He was first held in the Pingjiang County Lockup and then transferred to the Pingjiang County Detention Center on November 25, 2025. He was released on bail on December 3, 2025.
9. [Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Fu Yunping Sentenced to One Year and Nine Months in Prison
Ms. Fu Yunping from Longjiang County, Heilongjiang Province, was sentenced to one year and nine months in prison by the Shujiang District Court in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, on October 11, 2025. She has appealed with the Taizhou City Intermediate Court.
