(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tang Changjie Faces Trial
Ms. Tang Changjie, 69, was arrested at home by Ziyang Road Police Station officers on April 16, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to Dongxihu District First Women’s Detention Center. The Wuchang District Procuratorate indicted her at an unknown time. She was scheduled to appear in the Wuchang District Court on December 11.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sheng Fengling Arrested
Ms. Sheng Fengling was arrested on November 28, 2025 and taken to Yantai City First Detention Center.
3. [Fangzheng County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wu Xi, 58, Ms. Yu Su’e, around 75, and Ms. Guan Yuqin were arrested by Gaoleng Town Domestic Security Division officers at a farmers market on December 4, 2025. The officers ransacked Ms. Yu’s and Ms. Guan’s homes and confiscated all of their Falun Gong books. Ms. Yu and Ms. Guan were released that evening after they failed the physical exam required for detention. Ms. Wu is currently held at a detention facility in Harbin City, which oversees Fangzheng County.
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Guiqin, 85, Arrested
Ms. Zhou Guiqin, 85, has been detained since her arrest on December 2, 2025. Her family has hired a lawyer for her.
5. [Chenggu County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Li Zihua Arrested
Mr. Li Zihua was recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong materials in a residential community on November 17, 2025. Several officers from Yang County Police Department and Sanliqiao Police Station arrested Mr. Li at home and ransacked the place on December 3. He is being held in Yang County Detention Center.
6. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Huzhe Faces Prosecution
Mr. Li Huzhe was arrested on September 25, 2024. His home was ransacked, and his Falun Gong books, computer, and printer were confiscated. The police also withheld 10,000 yuan bond from him and said they would return it in a month.
A year later, on September 13, 2025, The police took Mr. Li to Yanji City Procuratorate. He demanded the police to return his Falun Gong books and 10,000 yuan bond. Officer Song Zhigang attempted to force him to sign a statement to renounce Falun Gong, or they would submit the bond to the national treasury. He refused to comply.
The Yanji City Procuratorate summoned Mr. Li for an interview on December 2, 2025. He didn’t go.
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Fengjuan Arrested
Ms. Yang Fengjuan was arrested at Woluogu Farmers Market in Yutian County on November 21, 2025. She was released on December 7.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wen Feng Harassed
Officers from the Chaoyang District Police Department and Leshan Town Police Station broke into Ms. Wen Feng’s home at around 6 a.m. to conduct a search one morning in the summer of 2025. Failing to find any Falun Gong related materials, they tore down a pair of handwritten couplets. They threatened to search her home again recently.
9. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Minglan Detained for One and a Half Years
Ms. Zhou Minglan was arrested by Madian Police Station officers on March 22, 2024. She was detained for over 1.5 years and has been released in recent months.
10. [Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners and a Family Member Arrested
Seven practitioners and one family member were arrested by Dashiqiao City Police Department officers in early December 2025. They were Mr. Zhang, his wife, a non-practitioner family member, Wang Jun, Wang Zhaomin, Xing Dongmei, Xing Chun’e and her husband Yang Qiang. Xing Dongmei’s home was ransacked.
11. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang and Her Sons Harassed
Ms. Zhang’s youngest son was harassed by Huicheng District police officers on August 22, 2025. They said they suspected her of distributing Falun Gong informational materials on a bus and forced her son (who does not practice Falun Gong) to identify her in a photo. He insisted that he didn’t see his mother in the photo. The officers accused him of covering up for his mother. They handcuffed him, took him away, and detained him for eight hours.
The police next ransacked Ms. Zhang’s home, confiscating a photo of Falun Gong’s founder and an article written by the founder. They also harassed her two other sons and ordered them to monitor her for them.
