(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 18 cities practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tong Juyin Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison
7. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zheng Shu’s Pension Suspended

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Yanru Arrested
Ms. Wang Yanru was arrested on December 15, 2025.
2. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ren Xiuli Arrested
Ms. Ren Xiuli gave out a calendar with Falun Gong information to the mother of a government deputy director and was reported to the police. She was followed and arrested by officers from the Mulan County Domestic Security Division on December 10, 2026. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Daxing’anling City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
Four practitioners, including Ms. Song Yulan, Ms. Ma Xiulan, Ms. Li Yuying, and a practitioner whose name wasn’t known, were arrested at their respective homes by officers from the Jiagedaqi District Domestic Security Division on October 17, 2025. They have been detained in the Jiagedaqi Detention Center since.
Another practitioner Gong’s home was also searched on October 17, 2025. Gong suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized.
4. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Zhao Lin Detained
Mr. Zhao Lin was arrested on November 2, 2025, and has been held in the Yinchuan City Detention Center since.
5. [Tianjin] Ms. Yang Jinyan Detained
Ms. Yang Jinyan, 50, was was arrested by officers from the Xiangyanglou Police Station on November 27, 2025, after they tricked her into opening the door. She was given 15 days in the Caozhuangzi Lockup.
6. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tong Juyin Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison
Ms. Tong Juyin, 75, was sentenced to eight months in prison and is currently detained in the Fenglieshan Detention Center.
7. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zheng Shu’s Pension Suspended
Ms. Zheng Shu was detained for three years from September 3, 2016, to September 3, 2019. She was informed by the Lanzhou City Social Security Bureau on December 16, 2025, that her pension would be suspended starting from January 1, 2026, until she returns the pension she received during the three years of her detention.
8. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Xiufang and Her Daughter Cheng Yonghui Detained
Ms. Pan Xiufang and her daughter, Ms. Cheng Yonghui, were arrested by Pinglidian Town Police Station officers, when talking to people about Falun Gong on December 9, 2025. They are currently detained in Yantai City.
9. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhao Xueqing Harassed
Several officers from the Dongguantun Town Police Station went to Zhao Xueqing’s home on December 9, 2025. They confiscated two Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, four desktop calendars, two Minghui Weekly, and two media players.
10. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Huifang Detained
Ms. Zhang Huifang is currently detained in the Nankai Detention Center.
11. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shuxiang Facing Trial
Ms. Zhang Shuxiang was scheduled to stand trial in the Zhaoyuan City Court on December 17, 2025.
12. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Man’e and Ms. Ye Xiuling Detained
Ms. Huang Man’e and Ms. Ye Xiuling were reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were arrested on November 30, 2025, and detained for 10 days.
13. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Kunfang’s Wrongful Conviction Upheld
Ms. Li Kunfang, 54, was arrested on May 12, 2025, for hanging up a Falun Gong banner. She was tried by the Pingdu City Court on September 18, 2025 and sentenced to 1.5 years on October 10, 2025. She appealed with the Qingdao City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold her original verdict on December 10, without having a hearing. Her family received the appeals ruling on December 16.
