(Minghui.org) Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, brainwashing centers were established in our area to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs. Several practitioners have reportedly been secretly given poison there.
One practitioner who worked in the local court was poisoned in a brainwashing center. After returning home, he had difficulty walking, could not speak normally, became mentally confused, and was unable to care for himself. He passed away shortly thereafter.
Another practitioner, a doctor in his 40s, died a month after being released due to the poison administered at the brainwashing center.
I was poisoned twice at a brainwashing center. Thankfully, our compassionate Master saved my life both times.
I was detained in a brainwashing center in October 2012. One day, during lunch time, the staff, who escorted and worked on me every day, arrived with our meals very late, as I could hear that they had been served in the other rooms some time earlier. I noticed that there was fish in my bowl but not in my cellmate’s. She said she didn’t like fish, but I remembered she had previously eaten fish when it was provided. Oddly, she took her lunch to the doorway to eat. Right after I ate the three pieces of fish, my chest started to hurt. With a strange expression, the staff member quickly went to find the director. I was brought something to drink.
I was confused by her behavior and how I was feeling. The more I thought about it, the more suspicious I became. Then it dawned on me that I had been poisoned. I recalled Master saying, “And if things get really bad, you can call out to me.” (“2018 Fa Teaching Given in Washington, D.C.” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XV). I urgently pleaded with Master to eliminate the poison from me. Afterwards, the sharp chest pain persisted for a while. I was later transferred to a detention center.
After I was released from the detention center, I frequently sent forth righteous thoughts to purify my personal dimension and eliminate any residual toxins from the poison. Meanwhile, I asked for Master’s blessing. My body recovered without major issues, and I had no trouble doing the Three Things. If I had not sought Master’s help, the consequences would have been dire.
The second poisoning occurred one morning in November 2015 while I was visiting another practitioner. We were seized, taken to a brainwashing center, and held for 41 days. During the final days before my release, I asked a staff member to purchase several dozen duck eggs for me because I wanted to bring them home for my ailing husband. When she gave me the eggs, I carefully inspected them and didn’t find any that looked rotten or spoiled.
One day, when I returned to my cell after a brainwashing session, I noticed fluid had leaked from some eggs. Not wanting to throw them away, I boiled them in an electric kettle. However, after eating them, I immediately felt extremely ill and realized that something was wrong with the eggs. The deceased doctor had been drugged at this same brainwashing center. I suspected I had also been poisoned, so I urgently asked Master to help me detoxify and kept doing so each day until I was released.
When I returned home, I was too weak to climb the stairs—two people had to support me, one on each side. My daughter was concerned about my condition and took me to the hospital for an examination, which revealed numerous yellowish-white spots on my liver and lungs. Had Master not detoxified me, I could have been poisoned to death right then. I am grateful to Master for saving my life once more.
I have fully recovered from the poisonings with no lingering symptoms. My body is even rejuvenating. When practitioners encounter danger, never cry out to your mother, which is acting like an ordinary person. You must absolutely seek help from omnipotent Master. This is also a test of one’s faith in Master.
