1. [Beijing] Ms. Zhu Ying Sentenced to Two Years in Prison
Ms. Zhu Ying of Beijing was arrested by Hebei Province’s Xinglong Police Station officers on June 4, 2024. She was put into the Chengde County Detention Center. She was tried by the Chengde Court on February 10 and sentenced to two years in prison on February 13, 2025.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Wei Suwen Faces Trial
Ms. Wei Suwen was scheduled to appear in the Dongcheng Court at 9 a.m. on February 18, 2025.
3. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Liu Jinxiang Faces Trial
Mr. Liu Jinxiang was tried by the Yungang District Court on December 6, 2024, and later sentenced to prison. He appealed the verdict and the Datong City Intermediate Court scheduled a hearing for his appeals case at 9 a.m. on March 6, 2025.
4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Lianying Detained
Ms. Jiang Lianying of Yuanshang Town, Laixi City was arrested at home by Yuanshang Police Station officers on the afternoon of February 13, 2025. She was given 15 days of detention. Her 96-year-old mother-in-law, who lives with her, was terrified by the police and later hospitalized.
5. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Aiquan Incarcerated in Shandong Province Prison
Mr. Zhang Aiquan was arrested on November 29, 2023, by officers from Dongying City Police Department and Shengli Oil Field’s Binhai Police Department. The Dongying District Court sentenced him to 3.5 years in prison in July 2024. He was transferred from the Binhai Detention Center to the 11th division in Shandong Province Prison in November 2024.
