(Minghui.org) I am a primary school teacher. Many students had virtual classes online for a long time during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was difficult to discipline students when they returned to in-person classes. Xiao You (pseudonym), was a difficult student from Ms. Yang’s class next door. Ms. Yang was tired and frustrated every day. Ms. Yang said, “I am going to retire early because of Xiao You!” Xiao You was out of control once again last week. I brought him to my classroom and started telling him about “virtue and karma,” and “heaven and hell.”
Xiao You understood what I told him and agreed with me. We agreed that when he couldn’t control himself next time, he would move to my classroom. This way, Ms. Yang would not get mad and need not complain to his parents, who used to scold Xiao You for his inappropriate behaviors. Xiao You would then in turn lash out in anger against his teacher from the reproach, which went on in a vicious cycle,
Xiao You politely agreed to our agreement. I also asked Ms. Yang to bring Xiao You into my classroom the next time he got into trouble and hold off on contacting his parents. Ms. Yang was already tired of communicating with his parents, so she decided to give it a try and see if Xiao You would be better with me.
Ms. Yang brought Xiao You to me one afternoon and his sleeves were all wet. She was upset and told me that Xiao You got into trouble again. I didn’t say anything and helped Xiao You wring the water out his sleeves. I asked Xiao You if he wanted to study theFa with me during afternoon recess. He agreed. He was able to sit in the full lotus position for 30 minutes. He told me that his legs felt numb and I told him it was a good thing since it eliminated karma. He studied and read Hong Yin during afternoon recess. Ms. Yang was grateful that I was able to help Xiao You calm down. She also said that things would turn into complete chaos when Xiao You got into trouble, and usually the whole class was disrupted. She praised Xiao You for his good behavior later on in the afternoon that day. Ms. Yang was able to have peace of mind and was quite happy.
School teachers got together for a gathering a couple of days ago and recalled difficult students from the past school years. Those students all visited my class. I taught them how to do the meditation exercises and Fa study, which improved their behavior. The teachers discussed how I was willing to assist problem students.
Problematic students are often moved back and forth between several different classrooms. My senior colleagues only wish to retire with no conflicts and have fewer problems. After I began practicing Falun Dafa, I truly cared for these problem students. My heart’s capacity also expanded. Therefore, I was able to take care of these students. I realized that it was no coincidence when I heard other colleagues complaining about a certain student. I think that this student must have some sort of predestined relationship with me. I should no longer regard difficult students as “problem,” and instead regard the issues as a call for help, wanting to come to my classroom and study the Fa.
I wanted to end my life before obtaining the Fa. A stranger once approached me and said that she had supernatural powers. She told me, “You will be a spiritual teacher in the future and will help a lot of people.” I was so burnt out during that time and could only take in her words as encouragement to continue living.
Remembering back now, I gradually understood what Master had planned for me in becoming a teacher. I needed to lead students spiritually and guide them to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Thank you, Master, for helping me spread Dafa, and for allowing me to find my true purpose in life. Thank you for helping me find all the answers to my life. Master’s boundless compassion has allowed me to have the power to spread love and care for all students. Thank you, Master!
