(Minghui.org) The city’s transportation department purchased more than 20 new buses. A practitioner discovered that electronic signs with slogans that slandered Dafa were displayed on the exterior of these new buses. She clarified the truth to a driver and advised him to delete the slogans immediately. She explained they weren’t good for him or the transportation department—the slogans were poisoning and destroying people. The driver told her the electronic signs were controlled by computer chips, and they could not be deleted. He also said the bus company couldn’t do anything, only the manufacturer could delete them.
After local practitioners discussed this issue, we felt that since it was so difficult to remove the slogans and we couldn’t go to the manufacturer to resolve it, we should send righteous thoughts to remove these electronic messages. We called on all practitioners in the city to send righteous thoughts to disintegrate the negative elements behind these slogans. We sent righteous thoughts for a period of time, but found that the slogans were still there. We discussed the issue again, and everyone felt that just sending righteous thoughts was not enough, we needed to go to the bus company to clarify the facts. One practitioner used to work for the bus company. Although he had strong righteous thoughts and clarified the truth to the bus company’s leaders before, everyone thought that the staff did not really understand what he had said. We decided to use this opportunity to talk about Falun Dafa and the persecution to them again so that they could truly understand it.
This practitioner also realized that he may not have clarified the truth in depth, and that since this incident happened in his workplace, it must have something to do with him. Although he retired years ago, he felt it was his responsibility. We decided to send righteous thoughts to the company’s leaders and the company, and write a comprehensive letter regarding this incident. The practitioner would take the letter to the company and ask them to read it. We would also tell them details about the persecution. Everyone thought this was a good plan.
Master said,
“That exception aside, when it comes to a lot of the specific things you come across, you need to carefully think them over for yourself, and it’s up to you yourself to come up with a way to resolve them. Wherever there’s a problem, that is where you need to clarify the truth and save people. Don’t take a detour when you run into difficulties.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2002 Conference in Washington, D.C.”)
A few days later, everything was ready. We organized some practitioners to go to the bus company. The rest of us sent righteous thoughts, and the practitioner who was the former employee took our letter to the leaders. When he returned, he said that the company was a mess and was restructuring. Many employees were either having their salaries reduced or might be fired. Everyone panicked and the leaders were worried. The practitioner explained the truth to them in detail, telling them that the root cause was the slander of Dafa and that they should quickly delete the electronic slogans on the buses. He handed the letter to the leaders and asked them to take a serious look at it. They agreed.
A few days later, we saw that the slogans on the buses were still there, so we organized several practitioners to go to the bus company with the practitioner again. This time, the leader of the bus company was very clear and told the practitioners: “I will contact the manufacturer right now and ask them to remove the slogans.” He called the manufacturer on his cell phone and asked them to remove all the slogans that slandered Falun Dafa on the buses. The manufacturer promised to resolve the issue within a few days.
A few days later, we saw that the slogans on the buses that slandered Dafa had indeed been deleted. We were relieved.
Later, the retired practitioner learned from the bus company that, although the company was reorganized, none of the leaders or employees lost their benefits. The leaders and employees were very satisfied. We know that it was because the company leaders put them on the right position on this matter, so things went in a good direction.
Through this incident, we’ve become more aware that, when problems arise, we need to clarify the truth, be persistent, and not be afraid of trouble in order to truly disintegrate the evil.
