1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Qingjie Faces Trial
2. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Harassed

4. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Yongfa’s Whereabouts Unknown After Arrest
5. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xuan Xiying Arrested
1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Qingjie Faces Trial
Ms. Meng Qingjie, a primary school teacher, was arrested on July 12, 2024, and is being held in the Shenyang First Detention Center. The Dadong District Court has scheduled her trial for February 27, 2025.
2. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Harassed
Officers from various police stations in Laishui County have been harassing and photographing Falun Gong practitioners under their jurisdictions since February 2025. The practitioners who reported harassment included Ms. Shi Shuzhen, Ms. Xiuyun, Ms. Zhang Fengge, and Ms. Gao Binlan of Wanggezhuang Village, Songgezhuang Township; and Zhang Shengping of Wei Village, Chengguan Town.
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gu Li Detained
Ms. Gu Li of Jinpu District was arrested and sent to the Yaojia Detention Center on February 17, 2025.
4. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Yongfa’s Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Huang Yongfa was arrested between 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 9, 2024, while working in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Both police in Xiamen and Qingyuan City took part in the arrest. He was taken back to Qingyuan City and his current whereabouts are unknown.
Mr. Huang’s family suspected his latest arrest was related to an earlier arrest in 2023, for talking to people over the phone about the persecution of Falun Gong. Although he was released on bail after a short detention, the Qingyuan City Procuratorate informed him in early December 2024 that they had indicted him and suggested a prison sentence of three and a half years.
5. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xuan Xiying Arrested
Ms. Xuan Xiying lives in Nanzhujie Village’s Mizhou Neighborhood. She has been repeatedly harassed over the phone by Linjia Village Police Station officers since 2024. It’s recently confirmed that the police arrested Ms. Xuan after the latest harassment (exact time unknown) and took her to a hospital for a physical examination. Due to her extremely high blood pressure, the local lockup refused to admit her, and she was then released.
