(Minghui.org) The call for submissions to commemorate the 2025 World Falun Dafa Day starts today.
May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day. 2025 marks the 33rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public and the 30th anniversary of the publication of its main text, Zhuan Falun, which guides cultivation practice through the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Throughout these years, people across many countries and ethnic groups have embarked on a journey of returning to one’s origin. As Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, said:
“Those who really have a predestined relationship and can enlighten will come one after another, entering the Dao and obtaining the Fa. They will distinguish the righteous from the evil, obtain true teachings, lighten their bodies, enhance their wisdom, enrich their hearts, and board the boat of the Fa, sailing smoothly.” (“Enlightenment,” Essentials for Further Advancement)
As of 2025, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution aiming to eliminate Falun Gong has lasted 26 years. World Falun Dafa Day celebrations have also entered their 26th year.
Meanwhile, the social phenomena that Master pointed out 30 years ago has become widespread:
“Those who survive the world without direction and with poor enlightenment quality live for money and die for power, being joyful or anxious over petty gains. They compete bitterly against each other, thus accruing karma throughout their lives.” (“Enlightenment,” Essentials for Further Advancement)
Many people have adopted this mindset as a norm and even take pride in living this way. Even worse, some have completely lost their true nature. In such an environment, genuine Dafa disciples are the ones “Stopping society’s downward slide” (“Universal Illumination,” Hong Yin Volume II).
As we know, the CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners with the strategy of “ruining their reputations, bankrupting them financially, and destroying them physically.” Despite the discrimination, interference, and pressure created by the CCP, why do so many practitioners still cultivate as they did when they first began? How have each of us tenaciously and continuously elevated our moral values and changed from a selfish and self-centered person to someone “... of selflessness and altruism”? We hope genuine Dafa disciples will write down their experiences of learning how to cultivate according to Dafa and how to improve ourselves by regarding Dafa as our teacher. We can also write down how we have compassionately helped sentient beings to learn the truth and secure a brighter future. Sharing these stories is a process of validating Dafa’s saving grace. The path of solid cultivation that each of us has walked is a manifestation of the power of the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It is also a testimony of this great, breathtaking historic period when human and divine beings co-exist.
This call for submissions is mainly for articles but is not limited to this form. All works on the theme of commemorating World Falun Dafa Day will be considered. We hope all Dafa disciples and practitioners, as well as people from different countries and all walks of life who cherish Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance will actively participate.

2. Include the author’s name (practitioners in China can use pseudonyms, out of safety considerations), country and city of residence, and email address. (Practitioners in China can use the secure mailbox within Minghui.org and should avoid email services with mainland Chinese domain names. Overseas practitioners should use email services outside China and not the internal mailbox within Minghui.org, and provide the author’s name and other personal information).
3. For submissions of artworks, please provide the professional specifications of your work.

Selected submissions will be published in a series during World Falun Dafa Day celebrations on Minghui.org and may also be included in Minghui periodicals, radio/podcast programs, and books, as well as republished by other media.
