(Minghui.org) After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Dafa in July 1999, many practitioners stopped joining group exercises and Fa study. Some practitioners were taken to brainwashing centers and were forced to give up their belief. Some practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa were detained and also gave in to the pressure to stop practicing.
This is so lamentable. We are Dafa practitioners, and we must not surrender to the evil. I was determined to do what I could to help former practitioners return to cultivation.
The first person I helped was a relative I had been a matchmaker for. Before practicing, she used to sweat excessively, have a rapid heartbeat, and have no energy. In addition, she didn’t have any children after more than five years of marriage. But when she began practicing Falun Dafa, she became full of energy, her face was glowing with health, and she had a son and a daughter.
“What were you like before you practiced Falun Dafa, and what are you like now? Do you think Dafa is good?” I asked her. She said Dafa is indeed really good.
“What a pity you don’t practice it anymore,” I said.
“My father is the manager of a factory, and I’m afraid that he would be implicated if I practice,” she said.
I then suggested that we start a Fa study group at my home without publicizing it. She began studying and practicing the exercises and, with Master’s strengthening, she was back on track. Thank you, Master!
After the persecution began, a veteran practitioner stopped coming to Fa study, but she secretly practiced at home. When her husband passed away, she refused to eat and drink. She just kept crying and even rolled on the ground in grief. Her relatives and friends who were helping with the funeral arrangements did not know what to do. They then remembered I was her fellow practitioner and called me for help.
I went to her home and saw she was lying on the ground crying. I whispered to her: “Are you still a Dafa practitioner?”
She immediately stopped crying, stood up, and went inside the house with me. Her friends and relatives were wondering what I said.
Within a month, I chatted with her twice about cultivation.
“Living as a human being is not our purpose, and one’s life is not meant for being human - it is meant for you to return to your origin.” I said. “After millions of years of waiting, we have this one chance. If you reincarnate into a cat or a dog, you came to this world in vain, as animals are prohibited from cultivation. You have obtained the Fa of the universe, and what a pity it would be if you don’t treasure it!
“We are not ordinary people. We are divine beings from higher dimensions. All things have predestined relationships. You need to let go of your attachments to sentiment. If you can cry your husband back to life, I would ask all my relatives and friends to help you cry. But is that possible?”
She’s finally started smiling again. With Master’s help, she came back to our Fa study group. Thanks, Master!
A veteran practitioner’s son was a county news broadcaster, and her husband was a teacher. She was afraid her continuing to practice would implicate their jobs. I visited her five times and talked a lot with her. With Master’s help, she finally agreed to join the Fa study group at my home.
A practitioner from a neighboring village was the first local practitioner who had Udumbara flowers blooming at her house, including on the window glass and on the handlebars of a cart. Many practitioners went to her home to have a look, and it was a very encouraging sight.
After the persecution began, she feared affecting her daughter-in-law’s job as a village accountant, so she stopped practicing. Her family members also forbade fellow practitioners from visiting their home. I always thought about her. When I passed her house, she was standing outside waiting for a delivery. She hugged me and cried, “Falun Dafa is so good, but I’m too scared to practice. On the other hand, I can’t let it go! Would Master still want me? Would Master still look after me?”
“Master would not want to give up on any predestined people,” I said. “You see! Master sent me here to tell you to come back. It is the evil CCP that told you not to practice, but would you allow evil to control you? We are the ones who walk on a divine path. Come with me to the Fa study group tomorrow.”
“If Master hasn’t disowned me for leaving, I will come.” She indeed came to the Fa study group the next day. Thank you, Master!
In the case of another practitioner, he lost hope when his wife divorced him and gave up on the practice. I visited him twice and said to him openly: “None of us can see through the karmic relationships in our lives. Master said that, according to the Buddha School, all have predestined relationships. Birth, old age, illness, and death exist in this way for everyday people. Our parents, brothers, and sisters in this life are also the result of karmic relationships. Emotions are painful, and they’re all debts being paid back to the creditors.”
I continued, “You’ve read Master’s Fa, so you must put down human attachments and look at everything from the perspective of the Fa. We embrace our relationships and send them off with ease when they end. Master takes care of everything for us. Time waits for no one, so don’t let your momentary confusion ruin your future!”
He understood and soon came back to the group Fa study.
Our Fa study group grew with more former practitioners returning. Through extensive study, everyone experienced big improvements both mentally and physically. We witnessed Master’s merciful protection and Dafa’s wonder.
Every year we’ve held two Fa conferences. This further pushed fellow practitioners in our area to make progress in cultivation as one body. This year, on the day before the Fa conference, the police went to every practitioner’s home and harassed us, but everyone participated in the conference the next day. With Master’s protection, the conference was very successful.
On the 20th Anniversary of the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, all of the local practitioners wrote articles and attended a discussion forum. We recognized the true face of the Communist Party more thoroughly.
We will continue to cultivate as we just began, do the three things well, clarify the truth to more people, and repay Master’s compassionate salvation.
