(Minghui.org) Finnish Members of Parliament (MPs) returned to Helsinki for the spring session on February 4, 2025. Falun Dafa practitioners took this opportunity to gather in front of the Parliament Building, hold banners, and distribute fliers to expose the ongoing inhuman persecution of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) in China, as well as the live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and dissidents.

Finnish Falun Gong practitioners put up banners in front of the Parliament Building.

The weather was cold that day, with the temperature at minus six degrees Celsius (21°F). The lawn was no longer showing summer colors, but instead was a backdrop for the banners. Falun Gong practitioners wearing yellow vests did the exercises next to the banners, accompanied by the Falun Dafa music.

Portraits of some Falun Gong practitioners who were persecuted to death by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) were placed at a street intersection near the Parliament Building.

MPs, secretaries, and people who came to the Parliament for business stopped to look at them. One staff member said, “I am on your side.” Another said, “I have received your information. I support you.”

A couple from Tainan, Taiwan took advantage of the winter break to travel to Northern Europe. The wife is a history teacher who looked closely at the portraits of Falun Gong practitioners who had been persecuted to death.

The couple greeted the practitioners with smiles on their faces and said, “We are very happy to see you here.” The wife said, “I teach history and I will introduce the dangers of communism and its infiltration into Taiwan to the students in the course.” Finally, she encouraged the practitioners, “Keep it up!”

A practitioner handed a flier to a man accompanying two senior military officers out of the Parliament Building, and said, “The Chinese Communist Party is harvesting organs from living people in China.” He took the flier and responded briefly and affirmatively, “You are right!”

Three women were in front of the Parliament building, preparing to attend the afternoon rally. One of them told practitioners that she had seen Falun Gong practitioner activities at the Helsinki train station 20 years ago and accepted some materials. After returning, she studied them carefully and learned about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. She said, “You have done something very important, and you should tell more people here [in the Parliament building].”

A man who was passing by the Parliament Building was stunned when he heard the words “organ harvesting.” The practitioner thought he did not understand Finnish, but he explained, “I was just shocked by being given the information.”

The practitioner told him that some practitioners who were doing the Falun Gong exercises on the lawn in front of the Parliament Building had been harassed by the police many times in China, and some had even lost their husbands and mothers. The man said that it was hard to imagine the persecution in China in the free environment of Finland. He said he would read the materials carefully after he returned home.
