(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the 43rd Syracuse St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 15, 2025. Their float which was decorated with lotus flowers, won third place in the Float Competition.
It was a sunny day with a hint of spring. Over 10,000 spectators lined the parade route. Many people cheered, clapped, and waved to practitioners, and some called out, “Falun Dafa!”
Practitioners participated in the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Day Parade and distributed flyers about Falun Dafa.
As Falun Dafa practitioners passed the stage, the host introduced them, “Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a self-refining practice that is practiced by millions of people, and consists of five sets of gentle exercises and meditation. Practitioners cultivate themselves according to the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance.”

Practitioners distributed introductory flyers, and some people were interested in learning more about Falun Dafa and how to do the exercises.
Local resident Diane asked practitioners if they could come to her workplace and teach the Falun Dafa exercises. She said her coworkers could benefit from the exercises, and it would help ease their anxiety.
Mr. Morgan Striggles, a human resource professional and former fashion model, heard practitioners planned to participate in the parade when he was interviewed at a Shen Yun show. He praised Shen Yun and said it was the most wonderful performance he had ever seen. He also said he wanted to join practitioners in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Morgan walked the entire parade route with Falun Dafa practitioners, interacted with spectators, and gave them flyers. His participation was a special and joyful addition to the Falun Dafa group.
