(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lihua to Be Taken to Prison

6. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pan Haoqiu Harassed
1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lihua to Be Taken to Prison
Officers from the Zhanqian Police Station called Ms. Wang Lihua’s daughter on April 3, 2025, and said that they would take Ms. Wang, 72, to the Jilin Women’s Prison on April 11 to serve a one-year prison term.
2. [Tianjin] Ms. Yang Shufang Arrested
Police officers went to Ms. Yang Shufang’s home in Dongsuzhuang Village, Hebeitun Town, Wuqing District, around March 20, 2025. They asked Ms. Yang to sign paperwork, which she refused. The officers arrested her. They took her to Wuqing District Detention Center before returning to ransack her home. Her Falun Gong books, a computer, and a printer were confiscated.
3. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Tang Arrested
Ms. Tang, first name unknown, from Gansu Province, traveled to Hefei City, Anhui Province in January 2025 to help her daughter care for her grandchild. She was arrested around March 30, 2025, for talking to people about Falun Gong on a bus. She is being held in a detention center.
4. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhao Chuanmei to Be Taken to Prison
Ms. Zhao Chuanmei from Chuansha Town in Pudong New Area was sentenced to fifteen months in prison by the Fengxian District Court on June 28, 2023. Due to her high blood pressure and a tumor in her chest, she was denied admission by the detention center.
On March 12, 2025, the judge and several officers forcibly took her to Dongfang Hospital in Pudong New Area for a physical examination. As her blood pressure remained high and a new finding of a severe lung condition, she was taken back home. Three officers returned on March 26 and took her to the hospital again for examination. This time, she was found to have had a stroke. The police took her home and threatened to take her for another physical examination soon.
5. [Yichun City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Chen Fulan Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Chen Fulan, from Zhangshu City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Yichun City, was arrested by officers from Zhangshu City Domestic Security Division on November 10, 2023. After being held in Yichun Detention Center for eight months, she was sentenced to fifteen months in prison in July 2024. She finished serving the term at Jiangxi Women’s Prison and was released on February 10, 2025.
6. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pan Haoqiu Harassed
Seven officers from Ping’ancheng Town Police Station went to Ms. Pan Haoqiu’s home in Pingsan Village in Ping’ancheng Town on the afternoon of April 3, 2025. They harassed her and took pictures.
