(Minghui.org) May 13 is World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners from all walks of life in China have submitted their greetings to Minghui to celebrate this special occasion and to wish Master Li, Falun Dafa’s founder, happy birthday. By following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance in their lives and at work, they are grateful for how the practice has helped them become better citizens and thus make this world a better place.
Below are selected greetings from practitioners representing 63 different professions, including those in forestry, literature and art, national defense, oil fields, communications, the medical field, agricultural reclamation, locomotive manufacturing, oil refining, automobile manufacturing, environmental art, healthcare, the postal service, finance, colleges and universities, education systems, petrochemicals, accountants, the news media, auctioneers, economists, geological exploration, financial system, publishing, the textile industry, state-owned enterprises, food systems, aerospace, natural resources, property, steel, electricity, diplomacy, scientific research, disease prevention and control, banking, the railroads, medicine, highways, shipping, music, lawyers, sanitation, construction, architectural design, the service industry, the music industry, retail, building materials, financial planning, e-commerce, transportation, industry and commerce, foreign trade, culture and health, water conservation, bridges, urban management, international seafarers, real estate, the silk industry, maintenance, and gas.
“Thank you, Master Li, for introducing Falun Dafa. By reading Zhuan Falun, Falun Dafa’s main book, we learned how to be selfless and considerate of others—even during the severe persecution we are experiencing today,” wrote practitioners from the Shijiazhuang Refinery, Hebei Province. “It is a precious opportunity for us to know Falun Dafa and constantly improve ourselves in all circumstances. We cherish what we have and will do better on the remaining cultivation path.”
Practitioners from Mengyin County Cotton Textile Factory in Shandong Province said they learned to let go of attachments to fame, material interest, and sentimentality while developing compassion. “In addition, we are finding opportunities to tell people the facts about Falun Dafa while clarifying the truth about the Chinese Communist Party’s slanderous propaganda. Thank you, Master Li! We wish you a happy birthday!”
Young professionals in the environmental arts in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, contributed a poem:
In the sea of flowers in May,we are celebrating World Falun Day;With warm breeze of the season,we are here with joy and gratitude.With benefits from Dafa in mind and body,we sincerely wish Master Li a happy birthday;Constantly improving ourselves by following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,we will return with Master, thankful for his deliverance.
