(Minghui.org) Other practitioners whose celestial eyes were open said they saw how much Master suffered for them. They were very grateful and were often moved to tears. My celestial eye isn’t open, but I’m thankful for my physical and moral improvement.
After I read the Fa teachings and other practitioners’ experience sharing articles, I had some understandings. I realized Master sacrificed tremendously for us. I was in tears and felt words could not express my gratitude to Master.
Master wrote,
“Our cultivation is based upon the principles of the universe’s evolution, and it is guided by the standard of the universe’s highest characteristic, Zhen-Shan-Ren. We cultivate something so enormous that it equates to cultivating the universe.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
In the past, enlightened beings such as Jesus and Shakyamuni helped people enter their heavenly worlds. But there are countless heavenly words in the universe, so it’s hard to imagine how immense the impact our cultivation has on it.
Master explained this in other lectures. For example, in “Genuinely Guiding People Toward High Levels” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun) and:
“The new cosmos is incomparably wonderful and infinitely massive amidst the Fa-rectification, as the entire colossal firmament is made up of tens of millions of incomparably massive cosmic systems…” (“The Effect of Righteous Thoughts,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress II)
“Dafa disciples, the tens of millions –A place still higher awaits your at Consummation.”(“Climbing Mount Tai,” Hong Yin)
Because of the karmic debts of the people he wanted to save, Jesus was nailed to a cross and suffered greatly. Falun Dafa is saving people in the human world, so those beings we save might be part of our worlds. Then, how about their karmic debts? Will Falun Dafa practitioners be “nailed to a cross” like Jesus was? In fact, if our notions and actions comply with the old forces, aren’t we walking on the path arranged by them? There might be huge tribulations waiting for us.
So, what’s Master’s arrangement for us? Master wrote:
“While Dafa practitioners follow their teacher and strive to save lives, they are working towards their own spiritual liberation and working off their own karma. Demonic entities try to exploit Dafa practitioners’ karma, however, and to block their efforts to save lives. Since those who are being saved cannot atone by themselves for all of their sins and karma from the past, divine beings have to compassionately absolve them of a portion of these, while leaving a portion for them to bear for themselves. I have to bear a portion of it for them, too. And so the more lives that are saved, the more I have to endure.” (“The Ordeals Our Spiritual Discipline Faces”)
Master sacrificed a lot but continues to give the benefits to practitioners.
Some practitioners think they lost a lot due to the persecution, so they think they suffered a lot for Dafa. This is incorrect. The fact is, Master sacrificed for us. When we don’t do well, we might be following the path arranged by the old forces. In any case, we should not complain to Master.
Master not only sacrificed for our karmic debts in history, he also sacrificed for the sentient beings we are responsible for. When practitioners do not do well and waste time meant for cultivation, Master has to suffer more to extend the time so we can catch up.
I think we practitioners need to do better. Our knowing side should dominate so we can shoulder our responsibilities and do our part.
These are my understandings. Please point out anything that is inconsistent with Dafa’s teachings.
