(Minghui.org) German Falun Dafa practitioners met and held parades in the German capital Berlin on May 9-10, 2025. They celebrated the 26th World Falun Dafa Day and founder Master Li Hongzhi’s birthday. The large-scale event involved performances by the European Tian Guo Marching Band, the Polish Dragon Dance Team, and the German Waist Drum Team.
Many spectators were impressed by the beauty and peace conveyed by the cultivation practice Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong), and admired its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Many also condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Some Chinese citizens who happened to be present even conveyed their support for Falun Dafa and their intention to withdraw their CCP memberships.

Real Estate Developer: Falun Dafa is Needed Everywhere
Mr. Armen Pogosyan, a real estate developer from Bavaria, Germany
When seeing the parade organized by Falun Dafa practitioners in Berlin, Mr. Arman Pogosyan happily raised his thumb and repeatedly declared, “Falun Dafa is good!”
Mr. Armen Pogosyan’s family hails from Armenia. The proprietor of a real estate company and current resident of Bavaria in Germany, Pogosyan praised the “extremely beautiful, pleasant, and wonderful” atmosphere generated by the parade.
This event was Pogosyan’s first encounter with Falun Dafa. Upon learning that Falun Dafa cultivation is based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Mr. Arman Pogosyan stated his admiration of these “perfect” values and said that “Falun Dafa is needed everywhere.”
“If everyone can accept and follow these values, there will be no war and unrest in the world. Unfortunately, this is an unrealistic dream.”
Like many people in the audience, Pogosyan felt the positive energy transmitted by Falun Dafa practitioners. “It’s wonderful, and I learned something valuable. The brilliance of Falun Dafa shines eternally everywhere.”
Upon learning that the CCP has been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners for the past 26 years, and continues to ban those in China from practicing, he commented, “This is terrible. China is very strict and there is no freedom of speech. Moreover, the entire world is watching and doing nothing.”
On hearing that the U.S. House of Representatives had passed the Falun Gong Protection Act, but Germany had yet to do so, he agreed that excessive focus on economic interests while ignoring morality is “very dangerous.” “Focusing only on business interests such as money and industry, it’s not right, is it? Human rights must be respected.”
Pogosyan thanked the practitioners for organizing the event, “everyone can learn about this” and said, “Falun Dafa should spread everywhere throughout the world.”
Packaging Company Owners: This Event Brings Cheer and Peace to Berlin
Brunhild Haug and Karl Ludwig Haug own a packaging company near Stuttgart, Germany.
Mr. and Mrs. Haug, owners of a packaging company near Stuttgart, encountered the Falun Dafa parade at Brandenburg Gate and stayed to enjoy the celebratory atmosphere.
Mrs. Brunhild Haug said, “The parade is very beautiful, cheerful, and radiant. Very different from the norm, and it brings a sense of peace to the hustle and bustle of Berlin.”
The couple had come to Berlin to visit a photo exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, held in the square before Brandenburg Gate. Brunhild said, “We saw a lot of (photos) of the Holocaust. Now, I am happy to see the beautiful atmosphere, music, and qigong performance. I really enjoy it.”
When told that Falun Dafa practitioners cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Brunhild expressed that these were “great values.” Echoing her views, her husband, Karl Ludwig Haug, said, “I agree. This is without doubt an expression of benevolence, a value we feel this world currently lacks.”
On hearing about the long-standing persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners enacted by the CCP, Brunhild said, “That won’t do. These values are so important, We must let their influence grow further in the world.”
“Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are Important Life Values”

A passerby in his 60s told a Falun Dafa practitioner of his understanding of the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. “People must change themselves and try to help others. Despite running into many unpleasant situations in the past, I have always done so. Usually when people encounter problems, they will turn to others or ask politicians for help. In fact, I believe people must improve and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”
He described how people living in today’s society only care for themselves, a stark contrast from 30 or 40 years ago when human rights issues were often reported in German media. Alas, nowadays no one mentions these topics. “Many people only care about materialistic gains and have no interest in these issues.”
“In fact, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are very important values to live by. Unfortunately, people have built walls around themselves, and the situation will only get worse as the years go by. Our youth has become ignorant, and we should educate them to face the truth instead of turning a blind eye. I am very happy that Falun Dafa practitioners are putting forwards these values.”
