Falun Dafa practitioners participated in Jubilee Day, and told people how the CCP persecutes beliefs.
People learned about Falun Dafa and the persecution and signed a petition calling to end the CCP’s forced organ harvesting during Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg on June 19, 2025.
Regarding the transnational repression from the CCP, Pennsylvania State Senator Dawn Keefer said, “We have to condemn that as the U.S., any of those acts that are against basic human rights, and the terroristic actions that are happening in China against individuals just practicing freedom of religion and freedom of speech and being, not only just persecuted with imprisonment, but tortured and abused. We have to stand up and speak out against that, and we have to condemn it.”

Senator Keefer calls on the U.S., “To stand united against these types of aggression on basic human rights.”
State Representative Sheryl M. Delozier also stressed freedom of religion, “I think that any oppression of religion is a bad thing. I mean, we are founded on the freedom of religion here in the United States, and everyone should be able to practice their religion as they see fit. And we should be supporting that, not only obviously we do through our Constitution, but we do every day in our lives. Here, up and down this street, you see many, many different types of religion and churches, and all should be represented and all should be treated equally. So I wholeheartedly believe that there should not be oppression for religion.”

Project coordinator Leah Toigo was born in Guangdong, China, and was adopted by a family in the U.S. when she was ten months old. She was interested in Falun Dafa, and said, “It has something to do with my origins, and it makes me feel connected to Chinese culture.” When she learned about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from Falun Dafa practitioners, she said, “This touched me because I was adopted during the [CCP’s] one-child policy, and it is really heartbreaking to hear that others have also been persecuted by the CCP.”

Kenny Arnstein, an amusement equipment merchant who attended the Jubilee Day for the first time, was also deeply moved and said that live organ harvesting is tragic. After signing the petition, he said, “I want to do my part to end this behavior.” He hoped to spread awareness through petitions and community action, and emphasized the power of faith.

Rebecca Noel, a business owner who was previously unaware of the situation, was eager to learn more, “Everyone should be allowed to worship freely, and there should be no restrictions that hinder healthy things.” She signed the petition and said she would do some research on the issue of forced organ harvesting in China.

Prasad from India said he learned about Falun Dafa during the community event last year. He said his wife was in poor health, so he was very interested in the examples of physical and mental health benefits provided by practitioners. He said he would recommend she try practicing Falun Dafa.
Gregg, a business owner who sells medical insurance plans, said he heard about the CCP’s human rights violations and persecution of Falun Dafa before, but he didn’t know about the live organ harvesting. When he heard practitioners tell people about the CCP’s crimes against humanity, he said he hoped this tragedy ends soon.
He was happy that practitioners taught the exercises for free in a nearby park and Liberty Bell Park in Philadelphia, and said he would learn the exercises when he had time.

A Delaware County judge listened carefully as a practitioner told him that Falun Dafa is practiced in more than 100 countries, but is persecuted in China. When he learned that the CCP expanded the persecution overseas and uses the media and the court to attack Falun Gong, he thought the matter was very serious and hoped the U.S. government could do something about it.
A lady who is running for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania said the persecution should be taken seriously.
