(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Jinjuan Sentenced to Prison
2. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
3. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Jinjuan Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Jiang Jinjuan, 60, was arrested while she was distributing Falun Gong materials in December 2024. Officers from Weicheng District Domestic Security Division followed her for six months before arresting her. They searched her home and confiscated her computer, printer, and Falun Gong books. She was detained for 15 days and paid a 20,000 yuan fine, before being released on bail. Minghui.org recently confirmed that she had been sentenced to ten months and was taken to Weifang City Detention Center on June 18, 2025.
2. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Three practitioners from Shangpai Town, Feixi County, were arrested in May 2025 when they went to Xiaomiao Town to distribute Falun Gong materials. Two older practitioners have been released. The third practitioner, Ms. Gao, first name unknown, remains in custody. All three practitioners’ homes were ransacked.
3. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Members of Laizhou City 610 Office and Laizhou City Domestic Security Division, together with town government personnel and local police, harassed and arrested several practitioners on July 8, 2025. Among those arrested, Mr. Han Zhengui was admitted to the Yantai City Detention Center.
4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
At least five practitioners were harassed between April and May 2025. Ms. Wang Guijuan was harassed by officers from Songgezhuang Township Police Station on April 18, 2025. Ms. Guo Shuxiang was harassed on April 27. Ms. Zhang Fenglian was harassed on May 27 and had her photos forcibly taken. Ms. Gao Binglan and Ms. Zheng Xiuyun were also harassed at an unknown time.
