(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners from Bremen, Hanover, and nearby areas gathered in the center of Bremen, Germany on July 19, 2025, to remember those who have been persecuted to death during the past 26 years of persecution in China. Over 5,000 deaths have been verified by the Minghui.org website, but the actual number is much higher, as many deaths are difficult to verify.

Falun Gong practitioners displayed banners and other materials providing information about the genocide by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In discussions with the public, practitioners also explained the transnational repression carried out by the Chinese regime. The CCP has recently increased its efforts using defamation, espionage, and worldwide media to spread the persecution beyond China’s borders.

On that hot day, many passersby stopped to express their support for Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises at an information booth and display in central Bremen.

A family talked with a Falun Gong practitioner about the persecution.

Passersby were informed about the persecution through well-documented literature and other informational materials.

As a gentleman looked at a banner displaying the names and photos of some of the victims, he exclaimed, “This (the CCP) is the embodiment of terror, truly the embodiment of terror.” Reading the names of the victims and seeing their photos moved many people in Bremen.

A gentleman was shocked by seeing images and names of some of the victims of the persecution.

Benjamin Koska, from Braunschweig, immediately approached the booth to learn more about the situation after seeing the information banner. He said he strongly opposed any form of persecution, oppression of people, and organ trafficking. When talking about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, he said, “This is a heinous act.”

Benjamin Koska from Brunschweig

Koska said the values of truth, compassion, and tolerance promoted by Falun Dafa deeply moved him. He believes that similar concepts can be found in other mainstream religions, such as mercy and patience. Based on this alone, he immediately signed the petition condeming organ harvesting. Koska believes that people should not be persecuted for their beliefs. He also expressed his desire to actively help, rather than just sign his name.

Before leaving, Koska requested some informational flyers that he could distribute at his church gathering the following day so that everyone would be aware of the CCP’s persecution of faith.

Bremen residents viewed a board displaying information about Falun Gong practitioners who were persecuted to death.

People signed a petition opposing the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Jürgen, an 82-year-old retired teacher, said excitedly, “It’s great that you are standing here exposing the CCP’s evil deeds. Organ harvesting must be completely banned! It cannot be allowed under any circumstances. We are human beings, and humans should not do such cruel things. God also forbids it.” Before leaving, he said, “What you are doing is right, and I fully support you.”

A passerby and her friend signed the petition denouncing organ harvesting without hesitation. She said that a few months ago, she read an article in Time magazine about Falun Dafa, the persecution, and forced organ harvesting, and she was aware of the issue.
