(Minghui.org) July 4, 2025 marks the 249th anniversary of the independence of the United States. Falun Gong practitioners from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana once again participated in the annual Independence Day Parade in Columbus, Ohio, which is considered to be the largest parade in Ohio, and is celebrated on July 3.

Practitioners have participated in the Columbus parade every year for the past two decades. This time, the Falun Gong procession included a banner team, a decorated float, and a waist drum team. Spectators warmly welcomed the group with their applause, and some spectators followed along with the practitioners’ exercise demonstration on the float.

Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the float, and the soothing exercise music added a sense of peace to the otherwise lively atmosphere. The waist drum team played the music of “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Celebration.”
Several practitioners handed out flyers introducing the practice to the spectators along the way, and many people expressed their desire to learn more about this traditional mind-body cultivation system.
Spectators along the roadside waved to the practitioners as the Falun Gong procession passed by, and many people took photos, applauded, and gave the thumbs-up.
