(Minghui.org) German and French practitioners from the surrounding area of Freiburg im Breisgau once again held a Falun Dafa Information Day event at Augustiner Platz, the city’s commercial center, on August 2, 2025. Through conversations with passersby, signature collection, flyer distribution, and exercise demonstrations, practitioners introduced Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) and told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. The event also clarified the truth to Chinese people and encouraged them to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Chinese Student Learns about Falun Dafa
A young Chinese man walked straight to the booth and looked through the various information materials on the table. He took a copy of the materials in Chinese. While talking with practitioners, he shared that he was studying for a doctorate in digital simulation in Germany. A practitioner talked about Falun Gong and the CCP’s persecution of Chinese people.
The young man said that his family was persecuted by the CCP after his grandfather was classified as a landlord because he owned a small piece of land. When he was advised to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, he said he did not join any of them.
He asked what Falun Dafa was about. He asked, “Why are you doing publicity activities?” The practitioner told him that the CCP fabricated many rumors and slandered Falun Dafa to persecute the group, such as the CCP-staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident. Falun Dafa practitioners come out to clarify the truth to dispel the CCP’s lies and raise awareness of the persecution. This is very important for people who aren’t aware of the issue. “Otherwise, they will be misled by the CCP’s lies, aid its evil deeds and persecute practitioners. The consequences are very serious,” the practitioner said.
“Oh, I see. You want to clarify some things to prevent those who blindly believed from being implicated and suffering misfortune,” he said.
Chinese Woman Chose to Quit the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations
A middle-aged Chinese woman walked past the information booth with her child and told practitioners, “I don’t support Falun Dafa because you support the AfD party. If the AfD comes to power, we immigrants will be in trouble. This concerns our vital interests.”
A practitioner said that it was impossible because Falun Dafa practitioners don’t get involved in politics and have no political agenda.
The woman said that a radio station reported it. “Your leaders support it, but you might not know about it,” she said.
The practitioner said, “If you’re referring to our founder Master Li, that’s even more impossible. Our Master has always warned us not to get involved in politics because we are practitioners.”
The woman insisted that a radio station broadcast the information. The practitioner said, “No matter which media outlet it is, they are spreading rumors and lying.”
The woman calmed down and said, “If that’s the case, I agree with you.” The practitioner replied, “The CCP is behind the German media that is broadcasting these lies. The CCP infiltrates many countries. On the one hand, they are framing Falun Dafa and inciting hatred against Falun Dafa; on the other hand, they are disrupting German society. The CCP is harming people.” The woman agreed to withdraw from the Communist Young Pioneers and the Youth League with an alias.
Three Chinese Young Men
Three Chinese young men passed the information booth and said they did not believe that 450 million people quit the CCP. A practitioner walked with them and explained that the number included all Chinese people who quit the Party, the Youth League and the Young Pioneers. They listened and nodded. The practitioner advised them to quit if they joined any CCP organizations. All three said were not Party members, but they agreed to quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers.
German Man Likes Chinese Culture
A well-dressed German couple walked up to the information table and the man told practitioners, “We really like Chinese culture. We wanted to talk about it to our Chinese colleagues but they showed no interest at all. Why is that?”
A practitioner explained that it was because China’s traditional culture was destroyed by the CCP during the ten-year-long Cultural Revolution. The man was saddened and said that it was disturbing that Western society now also lacks faith and traditional values.
The couple chatted with practitioners for about half an hour and learned about the persecution.
