(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held peaceful demonstrations across Mexico City and the states of Puebla, Jalisco, Quintana Roo, Morelos, and others, to mark 26 years of protesting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and held candlelight vigils. Moved by their message, many people expressed solidarity with practitioners by signing an international petition calling for an end to the CCP’s human rights abuses.
Mexico City
Falun Dafa practitioners held vigils and other activities in front of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico City and at Alameda Central, the historic heart of the capital, on July 19 and 20, 2025.
Holding banners and distributing informational leaflets, practitioners informed the public about the ongoing ban on Falun Dafa in China and gathered signatures calling for an end to the brutal persecution against millions of practitioners. They told people that practitioners are persecuted to death simply for upholding their faith in the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.
“Bravo,” one woman encouraged practitioners during their event in the Historic Center of Mexico City. She signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Puebla
Practitioners demonstrated the exercises on July 19, in the historic center of Puebla. Members of the public showed their support by signing a petition which condemns and calls for an end to the persecution.

After signing the petition, one person remarked that the persecution could eventually spread beyond China. A practitioner explained that this is precisely what is happening and that is why the petition is so important — to inform people and raise global awareness before it’s too late.
Engineer César Núñez, originally from the city of Guanajuato, said what’s happening in China is deeply shameful.
Mr. Carlos said he loves traditional Chinese culture and expressed his strong opposition to the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, calling it cruel and inhumane. He agreed with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, saying they reflect the best values of human nature.
A young woman named Annette approached the Falun Dafa booth. When a practitioner explained what Falun Dafa is, Annette shared that the night before, she had been crying over personal struggles and prayed to God for a sign. With deep emotion, she said, “This is the sign—I’ve found it.” She thanked the practitioner for being there at that moment and said she felt that Falun Dafa provides hope for the world, because it’s what people are searching for—not just healing for the body, but also for the soul.
Annette said she would begin practicing Falun Dafa, as it was exactly what she had been looking for, and added that she wished everyone in the world could practice it. She also condemned the CCP’s persecution and forced organ harvesting, calling it monstrous and inhumane. She said she hopes the persecution ends soon. Finally, she said she wished everyone could feel benevolence in their hearts and reach out to help others whenever the opportunity arises—because the world deeply needs compassion.

Jalisco
In Guadalajara and San Miguel el Alto in Jalisco State, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and told people about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. They also shared information on how to learn more about the practice and the ongoing persecution.

Quintana Roo
On Tuesday, July 22, other practitioners gathered in the central plaza of Tulum, Quintana Roo, in the southeastern peninsula of the country. They collected signatures to end the persecution, demonstrated the exercises, and distributed brochures to people interested in learning about Falun Dafa.

Morelos
A Falun Dafa practitioner went to a nearby park on July 20 with the intention of clarifying the truth about the practice and inviting families to a new site for practicing the exercises. The practitioner came across a group who were figure skating and took the opportunity to share information about Falun Dafa with some of them and handed out several flyers.
The practitioner encountered many people who were curious about Falun Dafa and happily accepted flyers. By the end of the day, four people said they would come to the new practice site.
“It filled me with great joy to realize that so many people in my city are seeking to improve their lives by embracing the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,” said the practitioner.
Additional cities across Mexico where local practitioners held peaceful demonstrations to mark 26 years of protesting the persecution in China included Tlaxcala, Monterrey in Nuevo León, Querétaro, Acámbaro, and Playa del Carmen in Quintana Roo.
