(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 28 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Kang Guifang Arrested
2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Huiqiang Taken to Prison
3. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Huang Jianfang Arrested
4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dai Cuiping Arrested
5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Suxiang and Mr. Li Aijun Arrested
6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tian Chunxiang and Ms. Zhao Guilin Detained
7. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Twenty-One Practitioners Arrested in One Day
1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Kang Guifang Arrested
Ms. Kang Guifang posted Falun Gong stickers on a utility pole on July 24, 2025. Someone took a picture of her and posted it online. The police located her through the surveillance camera network and arrested her. Her home was ransacked, and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She is now being held in a detention center. One of her family members was terrified by her arrest and fell ill.
2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Huiqiang Taken to Prison
Mr. Zhang Huiqiang, 58, was sentenced to four years and six months in prison and fined 20,000 yuan by the Dadong District Court in March 2025. His appeal was turned down by the Shenyang City Intermediate Court on May 12, 2025. He was taken from Dadong District Detention Center to Shenyang City Second Prison on July 28, 2025.
3. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Huang Jianfang Arrested
Ms. Huang Jianfang, 27, from Yongxing County was arrested between July 23 and July 26, 2025, for putting up Falun Gong materials.
4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dai Cuiping Arrested
Ms. Dai Cuiping, in her 60s, was arrested by three police officers on July 14, 2025. The officers confiscated her Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and a printer. She is being held in Chengdu City Detention Center.
5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Suxiang and Mr. Li Aijun Arrested
Ms. Li Suxiang and Mr. Li Aijun were arrested by Huanggezhuang Town Police Station officers on July 26, 2025, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong at Xuanzhuang Farmers Market. Their homes were ransacked.
6. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Tian Chunxiang and Ms. Zhao Guilin Detained
Ms. Tian Chunxiang and Ms. Zhao Guilin were arrested on July 17, 2025 and released on July 26, 2025 after ten days of detention. Anjiabao Township Police Station officers searched Ms. Tian’s home and confiscated her Falun Gong books.
7. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Twenty-One Practitioners Arrested in One Day
The Fuyu County Political and Legal Affairs Committee and Domestic Security Division officers arrested at least 21 practitioners and ransacked their homes on July 20, 2025.
Mr. Fan Jingtao was detained in Fuyu County Detention Center for 15 days. Ms. Wang Yanling was detained for ten days. Five other practitioners, including Ms. Jing Guixiang, Tang Ying, Zhang Qing, Wang (first name unknown), and Ping (last name unknown) were held in Qiqihar Detention Center. Mr. Fan’s wife and niece, as well as Ms. Wang’s husband, were released on the day of their arrests. The status of the other practitioners’ cased is unknown.
