(Minghui.org) Practitioners from Massachusetts participated in the annual Hopkinton State Fair in New Hampshire held August 28 to September 1, 2025.

The Hopkinton State Fair is New Hampshire’s premier family-friendly event, and showcases agriculture, entertainment, and community spirit. Originating in 1915, the fair has become one of New England’s most celebrated events and the largest in New Hampshire.

For five consecutive days, practitioners set up a booth, display boards, introduced Falun Dafa (Falun Gong), demonstrated the exercises, distributed flyers, and collected signatures on a petition urging the U.S. Senate to pass the Falun Gong Protection Act. Their booth drew residents and tourists, as well as vendors and event organizers.

Practitioners introduce Falun Dafa at the Hopkinton State Fair in New Hampshire

Sonja Kull came to the Falun Dafa booth on August 29. A practitioner told her about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa and its state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from practitioners. He explained that they were collecting signatures to stop the persecution and to call on the Senate to pass the Falun Gong Protection Act.

Ms. Kull signed the petition and said she had a food stall at the fair. She later returned and told practitioners they could collect signatures at her stall. Every day she brought people to the Falun Dafa booth to learn about the issue and sign the petition.

Some people stopped by the Falun Dafa booth and read the display boards, took flyers, and signed the petition. One stall owner signed it and brought his wife over. A practitioner told her about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. She expressed anger and shock. She signed the petition and hugged the practitioner. A short while later, she brought a female friend to the booth to learn more about the persecution and sign the petition.

Dismayed by the CCP’s atrocities two women signed the petition and asked for information about the online petition so their relatives and friends could sign as well. One of the women later brought her husband to the practitioners’ booth to learn about the persecution and sign the petition.
