(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa in 2009. In more than a decade of cultivation I consistently clarified the truth about the persecution in person, and helped people withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations. I’m immensely grateful for Master’s constant support and protection.
I talked to a retired teacher at a bus stop. I cordially greeted him and asked if he had heard about Quitting the CCP and its youth organizations. He was surprised and paused for a moment before saying, “Are you involved with Falun Gong? The CCP is so powerful; it won’t be overthrown in an instant.”
I calmly said, “Falun Gong is a cultivation practice. It guides practitioners to live by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. It’s a high-level cultivation practice of the Buddha School, with remarkable effects in strengthening the body and resolving illnesses. Falun Gong primarily requires practitioners to cultivate their xinxing, to look within for their own shortcomings when facing conflicts, to focus on others’ strengths, to do more good deeds, and to elevate their own moral character.”
I continued, “You’ve been teaching and educating people your entire life. You’ve endured so much hardship, working tirelessly from dawn till dusk, accompanying students in their diligent studies, and cultivating batch after batch of talent for the nation. Aren’t your students very respectful of you? You sought no reward. Our Master teaches us to cultivate and only asks for our pure and kind hearts. Jiang Zemin’s group used their power to frame, suppress, and smear us, fabricating monstrous lies to poison the people of the world. In its past campaigns, the CCP has persecuted and killed 80 million innocent people. Even a head of state like Liu Shaoqi, if he was to be overthrown today, he couldn’t escape the calamity tomorrow; he would still be purged. The CCP has committed so many evil deeds. You should believe in the principle that good and evil are met with retribution, shouldn’t you? Furthermore, have you heard of any dynasty in history that had an ‘iron-clad’ regime? Or anyone who lived ‘ten thousand years’?”
As I spoke he nodded repeatedly, agreeing with my statements. I then advised him to quit the CCP organizations, which he gladly accepted. As he left, he cupped his hands in gratitude and thanked me, saying, “Well-said, truly excellent explanation.”
Last year on September 11th, at another bus stop, I sat down next to a woman and clarified the truth to her. She told me she was illiterate and hadn’t joined any organizations. I explained about the persecution of Falun Dafa, and she very much agreed. Two elderly men sat on my right waiting for the bus. When I walked towards them one stood up and left, while the other one was lively, cheerful, and smiled at me. After warmly greeting him, I asked if he had heard that millions of Chinese had withdrawn from the CCP organizations. He chuckled and said, “In the past few days, four or five people have asked me. I’m not involved in that. Just yesterday, a woman asked me about it here.” I asked, “So, what do you think? Did you understand? Have you quit the CCP organizations?”
He said he only wore the red scarf (referring to the Young Pioneers). I said, “Withdraw quickly then. Today, your predestined opportunity has matured. Tell heaven that the red scarf you wore is null and void. The celestial phenomena indicate that heaven will eliminate the CCP and bless China. You, sir, are a kind man. The Communist Party has committed so many bad deeds, bullying the good and fearing nothing, oppressing good people, and oppressing Falun Gong practitioners who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. Be sincere with others, be kind, endure hardship and find joy, and good people receive good rewards. You, sir, are a good person, and gods wish for good people to be saved.” I continued, “Look at society now. People cheat for food, drink, money, and lust. Has anyone ever cheated you to ensure your own safety?” He said, “No, that’s never happened.”
I continued, “Look at the cars driving on the highway. If you saw a bridge was broken, wouldn’t you warn people about the danger? Suppose they didn't listen to you, how would you feel? That’s how I feel right now.” He said, “But they don’t explain it as you do.” I said, “No matter how it’s explained, our only goal is to ensure your safety. I respect you like my own father, hoping you stay away from calamities and plagues, and that you are happy and healthy every day.”
He suddenly understood, “Oh, so you’re doing this for my good!” I asked, “Should I use the name ‘Zhengzhi’ (Integrity) for your withdrawal?” He finally nodded and smiled. The bus arrived, and the old man quickly thanked me. As the bus departed he was still waving in gratitude.
I am grateful to Master for giving us these incomparably precious opportunities to save people. In the future, I will strive even harder to save more people.
