(Minghui.org) I used to suffered from various ailments, but after I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, they all disappeared. It was Master Li who bore my karma. Only when a practitioner cultivates diligently, does the three things well, and helps Master to save more people can he repay his kindness. Over the years, I’ve faced danger while clarifying the truth, but under Master’s merciful protection, all perils have been resolved. I would like to share two incidents with fellow practitioners.
An Impure Mindset Invites Trouble
In the early 2000s, several practitioners from our village often went together to distribute truth-clarifying materials in nearby villages. As we set out one evening, we split into groups, each carrying materials. My partner and I finished distributing in one village and moved to another. As we worked street by street, we reached a house where a dog began barking loudly. My partner placed the materials at the door and moved on. I went to deliver materials to a house further along. When I returned, the dog was still barking, and someone from the house came out. We continued walking deeper into the village and paused our distribution.
When we reached the end of the village, I looked back and saw no one following us. I discussed with my partner whether we should continue distributing materials, as we still had some left. She agreed, so we turned back. As we approached the house with the barking dog, a man suddenly stood up near a stack of firewood. He approached us while holding a large stick and shouted, “What are you doing?”
He startled me, but I calmed myself and replied, “Brother, we’re bringing you blessings. We’re delivering newsletters. Take a look at home. If you understand them, you’ll receive blessings.”
His tone softened. “I thought you were thieves,” he said. We assured him we weren’t and asked what could two women possibly steal? He told us to leave, and my partner thanked him as we departed.
Reflecting on this incident, we knew it wasn’t coincidental. I later learned that my partner had been reluctant to pair with me, preferring someone else she considered to have stronger righteous thoughts. She felt uneasy about being with me, which reflected an impure mindset that invited trouble. I, too, had fear and lacked stability in my actions, which could have also contributed to the problem. Fortunately, Master’s compassionate protection guided us safely through.
The Man Who Was Protecting Me
Practitioner Li and I went to clarify the truth in the spring of 2020. A man was standing by the roadside, seemingly waiting for someone. Li approached him to explain the importance of quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. The man agreed to quit the CCP’s Young Pioneers.
Another man joined the one who had just quit the Young Pioneers. It was the person he’d been waiting for. I told Li, “You go talk to that person, while I’ll go talk to someone over there.” After I returned from helping another person quit the CCP, I saw Li was still speaking to the man who had just arrived. Suddenly, this man approached me aggressively and demanded, “What are you talking about?”
Seeing his demeanor, I told myself not to fear, as fear would invite trouble. I responded calmly, “What did I say? What’s the issue?”
He repeated, “What are you saying?”
I replied again, “What did I say? What’s the issue?” When he asked a third time, I said, “I was telling that person how to stay safe.”
His arrogance instantly faded. “I’m a Christian,” he said and turned to leave.
I added, “Believing in God is wonderful. Those who believe in God have kind hearts and don’t do bad things.” He said nothing more and walked away calmly.
Meanwhile, the man who had quit the Young Pioneers earlier kept telling me, “Don’t tell him. Don’t tell him anything.” He was worried the man might report me and cause me harm. He was protecting me. He was truly a good person, and I believe he will surely receive blessings.
As a Dafa practitioner, I must cultivate diligently, do the three things well, help Master to save more people, and live up to his compassionate salvation.
