(Minghui.org) Dag van Roosendaal (Roosoendaal Day) was held in Roosendaal, the Netherlands, on Sunday, September 21, 2025, and over 140 organizations participated. Locals look forward to this festival, which highlights community and friendship. This is the third year that Falun Dafa practitioners have been invited to participate.
They set up a booth at Bloemenmarkt (the flower market), demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, distributed flyers, and told people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes the practice. They also sought signatures on a petition to end the persecution. Many people were drawn to the booth. Some watched quietly, while others joined practitioners and did the exercises. Many people signed the petition.

Photojournalist Condemns the Persecution
Photojournalist Willem Lagos
Willem Lagos is a photojournalist for a local magazine. He was drawn to the practitioners’ booth and said, “Yellow is very bright and beautiful!” He also said, “I can feel that you are a group of friendly, passionate, and kind people.” When he heard of the ongoing persecution in China, he said, “This is horrible. It is so terrible of the CCP to do this. We did not know anything about this matter.” He praised practitioners for exposing the CCP’s persecution and said, “What you are doing is very good!”
Roosendaal Resident Praises Falun Dafa
Mr. Cuf and his wife, Ms. Ivona, watched the practitioners do the exercises for quite a while. Ivona kept smiling and saying, “I like this!” Referring to the T-shirts practitioners wore, she asked a practitioner, “Aren’t you cold?” The practitioner replied that practicing Falun Dafa can open up the energy channels in one’s body and promote circulation, thus it is very beneficial to one’s health. The couple seemed very interested in the practice and asked for the address of the local practice site. They said they would go to the park and do the exercises.

Mother and Son Condemn the Persecution
A mother and her son were initially hurrying past the Falun Dafa booth when they read the banner about the CCP’s harvesting of Falun Dafa practitioners’ organs while they are still alive. They stopped, signed the petition, and said they wanted to support practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution. The son said, “This is so sad. I don’t know what to say.” The mother added, “Many bad things are happening in China. We do not have a way to get more information because the media does not report this, and China is sealed off.”
