(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Chunyan Arrested
2. [Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Su Changqin Arrested
3. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Dagui Detained
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Gao Baoli Detained
5. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Zeying’s Home Ransacked
6. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Nan’s Lawyer Arrested and Interrogated
1. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Chunyan Arrested
Ms. Yang Chunyan was arrested at home by over ten people on September 12, 2025. Her home was ransacked. Since the Chinese Communist Party started persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, she has been held in a forced labor camp and a brainwashing center, fined, and repeatedly harassed.
2. [Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Su Changqin Arrested
Ms. Su Changqin, 80, of Kaiyuan City was arrested in Shenyang City on September 4, 2025.
3. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Huang Dagui Detained
Ms. Huang Dagui, 71, a native of Guang’an City, has been living and working in Nanchong. She was arrested on the evening of September 2, 2025. The police ransacked her apartment the next day but did not find any Falun Gong materials. She is being held in the Jialing District Regulatory Center in Nanchong. Her husband, in his 80s, is devastated by her detention because he relies on her income to get by.
Ms. Huang was previously arrested in 2016 and sentenced to one year in prison.
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Gao Baoli Detained
Gao Baoli, gender unknown, was arrested in late August 2025. Gao has since been held in Shenyang City First Detention Center.
5. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Zeying’s Home Ransacked
Three Gaoping Town Police Station officers searched Ms. Jiang Zeying’s home on the morning of June 26, 2025, when no one was around. They seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang went to the police station twice, insisting that the police return the picture, but to no avail.
6. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Nan’s Lawyer Arrested and Interrogated
After Zhang, the lawyer who represented Mr. Jiang Nan, was reviewing his case document at the Linghai City Procuratorate on September 10, 2025, when he went to the Linghai City Detention Center to visit Mr. Jiang. While Zhang was sharing the document with Mr. Jiang, agents from the procuratorate came in and snatched the document. The lawyer was taken to the procuratorate for interrogation. His driver was arrested hours later and also interrogated. Both of them were released later that day.
