(Minghui.org) I’m 70 years old. Frail and sickly since childhood from rickets and heart disease that left me near death, I was perpetually gloomy and even my own family disliked me. After I started practicing Falun Dafa, my illnesses vanished and I became a cheerful and generous person—I lived by Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I always tell my family the facts about Falun Dafa at each family gathering, and we’ve had many miraculous experiences.
96-Year-Old Mother-In-Law’s Lifespan Extended
My mother-in-law fell critically ill when she was 96 years old and she needed high-protein IV fluids to survive. Because she needed daily infusions, her children took turns taking care of her.
One day, while my husband and I were caring for her, I noticed blood trickling down her arm. Realizing that her IV could not be administered, I immediately called my husband’s younger sister, who contacted her granddaughter (who is a nurse). The granddaughter said, “If the IV fluid won’t go in, stop infusing and remove the needle. Let her hold on for as long as she can.”
Before this incident, my mother-in-law had not opened her eyes for several days. Now that we were forced to stop her IV, she was truly near death.
My mother-in-law’s ward had two beds, one for her and the other for her caregiver. I decided to sleep next to her, so we shared the bed.
When I got up the following morning, I was surprised to see that my mother-in-law’s eyes were open. Although she couldn’t speak, she was able to answer my questions with gestures, indicating that her mind was clear. She even managed to swallow some thin porridge. I was surprised, as I did not expect someone on the brink of death to be able to eat. I quickly told her daughters.
My mother-in-law’s granddaughter and other nurses came to visit and were shocked to see my mother-in-law on the mend. They thought it was miraculous. The granddaughter asked, “Who was on duty with Grandma last night?” My sister-in-law replied, “Second brother and his wife.” The granddaughter exclaimed, “Everyone in the family should thank them! Given her condition yesterday, Grandma had absolutely no hope of survival. This is a miracle brought about by Falun Dafa.”
My mother-in-law was not educated, but when I explained to her the truth about Falun Dafa, she wholeheartedly agreed with me and showed great respect for Master Li Hongzhi. She told me, “Master Li Hongzhi is a divine being.” To avoid waking her children, she would get out of bed at night by herself to use the toilet. Whenever she fell and was unable to get up, she would ask Master, “Master, help me up.” She told me an invisible force helped her get back on her feet.
Three years later, my kind mother-in-law passed away peacefully in her sleep.
My Older Brother Miraculously Saved From the Brink of Death
Soon after New Year’s Day in 2025, my eldest brother’s son called me. His voice heavy with grief, he told me, “My father dying. He’s been hospitalized for over three months with no improvement. He’s become so weak he can’t stand up. He’s unable to eat because of mouth ulcers. He can’t lift his head, and even speaking is difficult. Major hospitals have diagnosed him with ANCA vasculitis, a rare autoimmune disease, which could lead to leukemia.” My nephew asked us to come and see his father one last time.
The news was a bolt from the blue! I contacted my siblings and went to my nephew’s home that night. My oldest brother was bedridden and so thin he was unrecognizable. Tears streamed down his face when he saw us. He was so weak, I had to put my ear next to his mouth in order to hear him. He told me, “I’m done for. I have no strength left. I’ve been receiving treatment for months but there has been no improvement. When I’m gone, please keep my funeral simple.” My siblings were extremely saddened and depressed, helpless in the face of our oldest brother’s condition.
I told my nephew, “You’ve visited every major hospital and your father has seen many specialists, but nothing helped. Only Falun Dafa can save his life now. It all depends on whether you believe.” I took out a truth-clarification amulet from my pocket and told my oldest brother, “Dafa is omnipotent. I suffered from many illnesses, but Falun Dafa cured them all. I haven’t taken any medication for over twenty years; isn’t that a miracle in itself? If you sincerely recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ a miracle will surely happen.”
Everyone listened quietly as I told them the story of my mother-in-law’s miraculous recovery. My second brother picked up the amulet and said, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” then turned to my eldest brother, “Okay, it’s your turn to recite it.”
My second brother’s actions left me stunned, since he was strongly against me practicing Falun Dafa. My truth-clarification efforts caused me to be persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). While my family worried about me, they were also afraid the CCP would target them. At that time, my second brother told us siblings, “Whoever can make her give up practicing will receive a reward.” I’d attempted to clarify the truth to him about Falun Dafa many times afterwards, with little success. This time, he understood that my eldest brother had no choice but to seek help from Master.
I took the amulet from my second brother, put it in my oldest brother’s vest and asked him to say, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” After he agreed, everyone went home.
Three days later, my older sister and I went to visit my brother. As soon as we entered my nephew’s home, we were amazed to see my oldest brother sitting on the sofa. He happily exclaimed, “I can eat and I have the strength to speak!”
My oldest brother recited, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day and his health improved. Two weeks later, he visited the hospital for a checkup, and his test results astounded his doctor. The blood tests indicated he had miraculously recovered and was back to normal.
My oldest brother soon regained his ability to walk. He lives in a second-floor apartment and is able to walk downstairs by himself every morning for breakfast, or take the occasional stroll around the neighborhood. Our family was deeply moved by Master’s power and compassion!
“The Amulet You Gave Me Really Works!”
My younger brother has been laid off (unemployed) for many years. His family’s poor financial situation meant they lived very frugally. Two years ago, during a family gathering, I noticed he was extremely thin and I asked him what was wrong. He told me, “I can’t eat. My stomach is bloated. The doctor said my digestive system has serious issues. Treatment would require hospitalization, but I can’t afford it. I’ll just live as long as I can.”
Seeing his pained and desperate expression, I felt very sad and told him, “Don’t give up. You have brothers and sisters who are willing to help you. I’ll give you a truth-clarification amulet. Keep it by your side and sincerely recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ As long as you recite it sincerely, your illness will be resolved.” My younger brother eagerly asked, “Really?” I replied, “Try reciting it, then you can tell whether you feel better or not.”
I called to check in on him a few days later. His voice was loud and strong, “Elder sister, I feel better! I can eat again and I’ve gained weight! The amulet you gave me is so effective!”
My younger brother soon regained his health. I reminded him, “You should thank Master Li Hongzhi from the bottom of your heart. It was Master who saved you.” He nodded and said, “I know.”
My younger brother understands Falun Dafa is good. Whenever I find myself the target of the CCP’s persecution, I take my Falun Dafa books and equipment for making truth-clarification materials to his home for safekeeping. Although he’s afraid, he’s never refused to help.
Saving a Life By Sincerely Reciting “Falun Dafa is Good”
My brother-in-law was diagnosed with cardiovascular disease last year. One night, he experienced severe chest pain and could not speak. His family rushed him to the hospital and the doctors saved his life. My husband and I visited him and asked him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” whenever he was in danger.
He was walking under an overpass when he suddenly suffered a heart attack. In so much pain that he could barely breathe, my brother-in-law had to lean against the wall. An old woman happened to pass by and told him, “Quickly recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’” My brother-in-law replied, “I did.” Realizing he understood the truth about Falun Dafa and knew what to do, the old woman started to leave. But after a few steps, she turned back and said to him, “This won’t do. Recite it out loud and I’ll recite it with you.” The two of them began to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” until my brother-in-law’s pain subsided a few minutes later. He was extremely grateful to this Falun Dafa practitioner.
After returning home, my brother-in-law said to me and my husband, “Falun Dafa practitioners are truly wonderful. You’re completely selfless. Such people are hard to find nowadays.”
I have a large family which consists of many brothers, sisters, and their children. Everyone has accepted the truth and knows about the persecution of Falun Dafa and they’ve withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Many of us have been blessed.
Today’s society is chaotic. People’s hearts are corrupt and many are driven to despair by the CCP’s policies and actions. I hope people will understand the truth about Falun Dafa, recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and enjoy lives filled with hope.
