(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, and all four of my family members now cultivate Dafa. Master and Dafa have brought us so much wonder and joy, so we are very grateful to him for his benevolent salvation.
When my daughter started first grade in 2022, she started having stomachaches. Sometimes they were so bad that she couldn’t go to school. But when we took her to the hospital, they didn’t find anything wrong with her, and after a while, the stomachache would just go away.
She would get these stomachaches almost every day and often had to stay home from school. For most of her first grade year, she was on medical leave, so she missed many classes. The school suggested that she repeat first grade, but I did not want her to.
In the winter of 2023, she became obsessed with playing games on her learning device and would not listen when we advised her to stop. She would be on it night and day and stay up very late at night. That meant that she could not wake up in the morning and didn’t want to go to school. After school, she would often have a fever and a stomachache, so we sometimes had to rush her to the clinic.
She had a fever one day, and just as we reached the clinic, she passed out. Her lips turned purple, and she couldn’t move. As the doctor gave her oxygen and a drip, I recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” in her ear and told her that she would be fine because Master was protecting her. As I recited, she regained consciousness, her temperature fell, and she returned to normal. We took her back to the clinic for a drip the next day, but her fever had already subsided.
On the third day, she refused to go back for another IV. She said with determination, “I will not go even if my head splits open. I will recover if I listen to Master’s lectures.” I turned on Master’s lecture recordings, and as she listened, she did indeed recover. She still gets fevers occasionally, but she recovers after taking a bit of medication, and she no longer needs IV drips.
I told her that Master and Dafa had saved her life, and her belief in Master and Dafa were strengthened such that she listened to Master’s lectures day and night and offered good food to Master first before she ate. She also often recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
When she was in third grade in 2024, she looked at herself in the mirror and realized that her eyes had became smaller. When she asked me why, I told her, “Because you kept looking at the games on your learning device. It would be great if you could read Dafa books instead. Master and Dafa are supernatural, and miracles will happen when you learn Dafa. Your eyes will return to normal, you will have more wisdom, and you will become prettier and healthier.”
She said, “Mom, let’s study the Fa together.” With that, we picked up the precious book Zhuan Falun and took turns reading paragraph by paragraph. She was able to read most of the words.
My daughter thus obtained the Fa. I studied the Fa with her every day and always noted the page where we stopped. She said that studying the Fa every day was the most most important thing. She has now read all of Zhuan Falun for the first time.
My daughter has changed greatly. Since she started studying Zhuan Falun, she no longer has fevers or stomachaches. She has no trouble eating, and her health has improved. Not only that, she stopped playing games on her learning device, sleeps well at night, wakes up early in the morning, and is willing to go to school. She pays attention in school, keeps the two Dafa phrases in her mind, and gets along well with her classmates.
One of her classmates likes to use rude language, writes on other people’s clothes, and pinches them, so no one wants to sit near him. The teacher arranged for my daughter to share a table with him. My daughter discussed it with me, saying that if she did not sit with him, no one else would, and he would have to be at a table all by himself. I told her that Master protects us, so she should share a table with him and let him have his way at first. I said things would get better over time. He pinched her, but she did not retaliate. When his parents found out about it, they apologized to us. He also apologized to her. He then started to treat her better.
When my daughter gets home from school, she first does her homework. She has become very well-behaved and intelligent and has developed a love for learning, making great progress in school. If she comes across questions she can’t answer, she does research and figures them out. She used to make 70s and 80s in Chinese, math, and English. Now her grades are usually over 90 and sometimes over 100 (the highest score is 110), making her one of the top students in her class.
My daughter is very happy these days. She went for an eye exam recently, and her eyesight has actually improved. Dafa is really miraculous. Master and Dafa have given me a healthy, well-behaved, and intelligent daughter.
Cultivating Falun Dafa is really a joy. Unaware of the persecution, my daughter often asks, “Dafa is so good. I wonder why my teachers and classmates don’t learn it?” I am writing down the things she has experienced in hopes that her teachers and classmates can see how she has changed and acknowledge that Dafa is good so that they, too, can have a wonderful future.
