(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 27 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yingjun Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi Facing Trial
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fang Caixia Facing Trial
4. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zou Zhengying Released after Being Detained for Nine Months
5. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Xiaoxuan and Wang Manxin Detained
6. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Tried
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Wenyu and Ms. Li Xinglian Harassed
8. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
9. [Qianxi County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
10. [Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xu Arrested
11. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Detained
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yingjun Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
Mr. Liu Yingjun, 75, was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined 100,000 yuan by the Ganjingzi District Court in late April 2025. He appealed, but his appeal was denied by the Dalian City Intermediate Court. He has been admitted to the 13th Division of Shenyang City First Prison.
2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi Facing Trial
Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi were scheduled to be tried by the Pingdu City Court on December 26, 2025.
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fang Caixia Facing Trial
Ms. Fang Caixia is scheduled to appear in the Ganjingzi District Court on January 8, 2026.
4. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zou Zhengying Released after Being Detained for Nine Months
Ms. Zou Zhengying was arrested in Tongbai County, Henan Province, on March 11, 2025. She was detained in the Nanyang City Detention Center, Henan Province, and sentenced to nine months in prison by the Tanghe Court on May 9, 2025. She was released on December 10, 2025.
5. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Xiaoxuan and Wang Manxin Detained
Ms. Ma Xiaoxuan and Wang Manxin were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong and were arrested by Dongting Town Police Station officers on December 22, 2025. They are detained in the Dingzhou City Lockup.
6. [Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Tried
Four practitioners, including Mr. Shen Jinxiang, Mr. Yang Kui, Ms. Jia Yanfeng, and Ms. Su Hong, were tried by the Hailin City Court on December 24, 2025. The next hearing was scheduled for December 30, 2025.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Wenyu and Ms. Li Xinglian Harassed
Ms. Li Wenyu’s home was ransacked by agents from the Cuqiao Police Station and Longjin Community on December 9, 2025. Her computer, printer, and other personal belongings were confiscated.
Ms. Li Xinglian’s home was also ransacked that day.
8. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
Three officers from the Renzhao Police Station harassed five practitioners on December 16, 2025. They photographed the practitioners and inquired about other practitioners. The harassed practitioners included Mr. Wang Yongcheng, Mr. Zheng Zhijun, Ms. Yu Cuifang, Ms. Yu Zhenxiang, and Ms. Zhang Yuying.
9. [Qianxi County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
Mr. Chuai Zhiwu, Ji Guijun, and Mr. Wei Chunqi, were harassed in mid-December 2025. The police took photos of them without their permission.
10. [Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xu Arrested
Mr. Xu was arrested when distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on December 5, 2025.
11. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Detained
Mr. Li Xiukuan, Ms. Li Yanwen, Ms. Zhou Chuanying, Ms. Zhao Xihua, and Mr. Liu Fujin were arrested on August 21, 2025 and placed under criminal detention. Mr. Liu has been tried.
